Time to give Justin smith some love. Played a pretty good game today. I thought his defense was good even though his man was scoring. Sometimes good offense trumps good defense. Hopefully this raises his confidence level!12 points

In terms of good wins - I believe we now have 4 top 50 KenPom wins. The most in the country 👍7 points

Won our last 3 games by a combined 5 points... I’ve been pacing a hole in the floor in front of my TV. Huge win for our tournament resume. Romeo and Juwan did their thing, and Big Shot Rob has ice in his veins. Nice bounce back game for Smith as well. Have to think all these close wins are going to help the team in big moments down the road.7 points

My big take away from this thread.... HSN has a lot of old members with bad hearts and drinking problems. Home sweet home!7 points

I think Archie did a great job today. Louisville goes to the free throw line better than anyone and we did a great job defending without fouling. I haven’t seen the numbers, but seemed we did better on the boards in the second half. And while we lack shooters, Archie is doing a great job getting the team in positions to shoot at a high percentage. Really liked some our sets today. Free throw shooting kept us from pulling away late.6 points

Justin has caught a lot of flack on here. He’s still developing, but this game reflects the kind of step that reflects CAM’s confidence in him6 points

Didn't see it posted but AJ Moye is making his first return to Bloomington since he left for the game today. He's on Instagram not Twitter. Pretty big sign what he thinks of our staff.6 points

Survive and advance....pretty simple. We won a game against a quality opponent. I have nothing to be critical of. Thought the boys that saw the floor all played with heart and spirit. Hard fought win and I like our character.5 points

Absolutely terrific win, Louisville is no joke. Phinisee hit the biggest shot of the year, and as a true freshman is clutch.5 points

Archie... no shooters, cant hit FT's and still beat Mack and the ville for the 1st time since '025 points

Makes the Ark loss sting that much more. We beat them 9 times out of 10, even at their place5 points

Maybe, but with a top 2-3 recruiting class every year for the last 10 years and only one title, vastly underachieving in my book.5 points

You can't ever say anything positive can you. We played very well in the second half and won a big game against a good team, We are 8-2 and have some good wins so why nt be happy with a win.4 points

Absolutely agree — lost the first half, battled for boards and second chance points and possession in the second and we’re up I think 7 in the closing 30 seconds or so, Vill fought for 3’s, but we CLOSED it out! that is tourney level experience that will really help this team. That’s a winning team4 points

Enjoy the win....many more to come. If you are wanting this team to blow teams out every game, just not going to happen. Not loaded with 3 shooters to hit 5 in a row to do that.4 points

Moye was in the house today and Romeo nearly channeled Fife in 02 against Duke on that 3pt foul (which I think was a crap call, btw). Tale of 2 halves. Looked lost in 1st half. Considerably better showing in the 2nd4 points

I really think this was a great win. Louisville is a solid team. Our defense is great, our offense needs work. Happy for Justin to have a solid game. Just be that junk yard dog Justin, no mistakes. Need to work on our free throws. Still not sure what our line up should be.4 points

To pull this out, a couple guys not named Morgan and Langford are going to have to come to life on offense.4 points

Last year, we didn’t get our 8th win until December 29th, and by then, we also had 6 losses— including v Indiana State and IPFW. This team has taken on the personality of its head coach, hard nosed and won’t back down. It is still a work in progress, and I don’t think that we will ever be accused of “beautiful basketball “ this season, but I believe that this team is playing closer to how this board and the fans in general have wanted for the last 5 years or so. Not there yet, but I’ll take a win like today’s every game3 points

Hoosiers have won 3 straight one possession games with an all Freshman backcourt on the floor at the end. This team will only get better. LVille has Jrs and Srs all over the roster and no freshmen.3 points

Disagree. I doubt they hit all those PRAYERS again. And our defense will travel. I bet if we played in the tournament we win. And on that note....this team is figuring out how to win....this is a HUGE development. 2 points 2 points 1 point3 points

I hate that call. McMahon jumps to the side to get contact. Smart on his part, but I question that that should be called a foul.3 points

Well, darn it anyway! What a run, but it ends in a 2-0 loss in the semi-finals. IU just did not have tonight; they've had chances, but could not finish them. What a nice collection of players we had on this team; thanks and congratulations to each and all of them (and the coaching staff, as well). Indiana is still seeking #9. GBR! Go Hoosiers!3 points
