  1. It was just like our games against Maryland because we would have own it if we were not careless with the ball. Brogdon just made a lazy pass to Saboinis at half court that shouldn't have been made.

  2. He will have to work for playing time, but the point is that's a really good team, good front office, good culture, and a team with a bright future, still fairly young. That's what you want -- he's already proven he can play, he doesn't need to be getting extended minutes on a bad team, this is a good situation for him.

  3. No they really didn't, they got outplayed by a resilient Toronto playing on its home floor for its longest winning streak in team history, 12. Have to credit Toronto's D, and O. P's played a good game, they just got beat down the stretch.

  4. Great to see. I didn't watch the game but his box score looks good. 3-4 for 6 points, 1 block, 1 board, and a +8 in the plus-minus in 28 minutes. Good for Romeo.

  5. Rumor season starting early in NFL. Sources saying that both Gurley (Rams) and Johnson(Cardinals) are being shopped. I say this to both franchises. Good luck dealing those contracts.

  6. Summer of 2014. Wife and decided to rent a place at Eagle Pointe (near Bloomington/Lake Monroe) for the summer. I was always amazed at the star/fire power that existed between bar at clubhouse and bar called Fairfax before you enter Four Winds. Not just the Rolen family....but several, several others who call Monroe County home. I bring this up only to say the following. There are some very, very dialed in folks that post on here. I'd believe specific information like this far times more than not.

  7. I don't watch as much NBA regular season hoops so my comments are based on limited watching. Brogdon appeared to me a little careless with ball at times. Sabonis while an All Star had some moments where he lost his guy....had at least 4 turnovers by my count. Unacceptable to blow a double digit lead with 2 to go but what do you do? No choice but to learn and move on. All I want for the Pacers is to get 2,3 or 6,7 seed in playoffs. This team will peak later in year...just don't want Bucks early.

  8. Pacers played a great 2nd a 3rd quarters leading by as much as 19 in the 3rd. Was still leading by 11 with 3 minutes then got outscored 12-0 to lose by 1. the second unit was great tonight and they kept getting us huge leads but the starters lost the game. Still don't understand why McMillian keeps putting the ball in VO's hands the last few possessions, He took and missed the Pacers last 3 shots. For ost of the game they were moving the ball well and getting wide open shots especially the second unit.

  11. Love this. HS coach is in his ear about how well he'd fit in CAM's system. Kremer has seen Archie Miller’s system up close and believes Duncomb can be an asset to it. “I’ve seen Indiana play a lot this year, he fits in perfect with how they run their offense, how they run their break…Logan’s really made for that,” Kremer said. “Logan’s really made for that because he runs great. Of course (Miller) likes big guys who can get out and run, putting pressure on the defense and he’s really good at that.” “Logan’s got an unbelievable motor - check plays at an all-out capacity every day he’s on the floor,” - check runs the floor, from offense to defense (and) from defense to offense, hard every single time.” - check “He goes for every single offensive rebound. He just doesn’t take time off during the game.” - check “He’s got good feet,” - check “I wouldn’t have given him the green light to shoot the 3 (last year), but this year he has it and I think as he develops he’s actually going to become a very good shooter.” - check

  12. So @btownqb is clearly hearing this information from someone very close to the situation. Who or what kind of source exactly are you hearing your information from?

  14. Can we not just enjoy a job well done by Coach Mercer to land top talent in the state?? Having IU baseball & football relevant will continue branding IU athletics as more than just basketball

  15. Here’s the deal with the MLB draft. •Teams only have so much they can spend on draft picks. So they don’t always draft the most talented player. They will take a few of talented high school kids or draft eligible juniors and sophomores and then draft, JUCO, or high school seniors that they can sign below slot value to save money. PBR has Montgomery ranked 75th amongst high school players. That means he likely won’t get drafted in the top 5 rounds. So he will likely benefit from going to school.

  17. I'm told, as of now.... this commitment is going to stick. He will be at IU. Mercer is building something big time. 4 of top 8 SRs committed. 4 of the top 9 JRs committed. Recruiting the midwest REALLY well.
