  3. Anything would be better than Mitch...but I caught Eason a few times over his career. Dude has a cannon for an arm.

  4. Pace said yesterday that Trubisky was the starter next year and that he had confidence in him... Don't know what to think at this point, but I'd say creating real competition for Mitch is a really good thing...one way or the other...

  5. For those that post regularly in this thread know I'm a Bears guy. For other Bears fans keep an eye on Jacob Eason. Our GM Ryan Pace as most know has a don't talk about us in public before draft philosophy with players they have an interest in. Eason gave a sort of uncomfortable answer yesterday about Bears that suggests he maybe met privately with them already here in Indy. Something to consider and think on.

  6. I think there is more we don't know. One of my clients mentioned 50,000+ die of the flu every year just in the US so why all the concern over something much less impactful? They are quarantining tens of millions in China. This is effecting consumption (less oil being consumed for example and therefore we have seen the price of oil drop) and also production. Factories are not running or are at reduced capacity. Hence less iPhones being made, then less to be sold. I think the real issue will be whether we see mandatory quarantines here in big cities in the US. Market hates unknowns and right now, this is a major unknown.

  8. Yep. I listened to him say the correct February comments. Problem is I don't trust a thing he ever says so I have to go to players and read their body language. Such transparency. Haha. At least with Ballard (who I very much like) you know where things stand. He's open.

  9. He has flirted with a triple double a few times this year. "Smith was last season's third-leading scorer (12.9 ppg) behind seniors Zach Banks and Caleb Welch. Despite his small stature, he led the Shamrocks in rebounding (4.2 per game) and assists (3.1), while setting a school single-season record with 69 made 3-pointers (hitting 45.1%)." "Smith can shoot, but his best attribute might be his passing. He sets up his teammates with passes that seem to materialize from the slightest crack in the defense. “Sometimes, I don’t know how those passes get through,” Smith said." "Ginny Smith was the 1997 Miss Basketball in Arkansas before going on to play at Arkansas Tech. Smith’s father, Dustin Smith, played on Northwestern’s Class 2A regional championship team in 1998 before playing at Arkansas Tech. “I grew up with a basketball in my hands,” Braden Smith said." https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/high-school/2019/06/27/ihsaa-basketball-westfield-player-excels-despite-small-stature-charlie-hughes-shootout/1545990001/

  10. Love this. HS coach is in his ear about how well he'd fit in CAM's system. Kremer has seen Archie Miller’s system up close and believes Duncomb can be an asset to it. “I’ve seen Indiana play a lot this year, he fits in perfect with how they run their offense, how they run their break…Logan’s really made for that,” Kremer said. “Logan’s really made for that because he runs great. Of course (Miller) likes big guys who can get out and run, putting pressure on the defense and he’s really good at that.” “Logan’s got an unbelievable motor - check plays at an all-out capacity every day he’s on the floor,” - check runs the floor, from offense to defense (and) from defense to offense, hard every single time.” - check “He goes for every single offensive rebound. He just doesn’t take time off during the game.” - check “He’s got good feet,” - check “I wouldn’t have given him the green light to shoot the 3 (last year), but this year he has it and I think as he develops he’s actually going to become a very good shooter.” - check

  11. First pick is at 43 unless Pace wants to trade up again and maybe package our 43 and 50 to move up earlier in 2nd round if he thinks his QB is available? Problem is we need a corner, another Olineman, probably another WR and of course since we spent our 2nd round pick 3 years ago on a TE who has caught 2 passes since....probably need a TE too. We don't have cap space to go after Hooper....so I can't see us trading multiple 2nd round picks for 1 guy when we have multiple needs.
