  2. this pandemic has changed our world in many ways but for some reason I thought about one of the things it has altered for my family. Every year we go to at least 1 new MLB park that they boys have not been. This year we were going to St Louis then Kansas city and then to Iowa to see the Field of Dreams. That's got me bummed now, but on bright side Ayden continues to stay healthy. Praise God

  3. Neighbor's daughter has Corona because, basically every day since the stay home / work safe rules were relaxed here in Texas, they've been throwing pool parties, with all kinds of kids and no masks, etc. Now she has the virus (and, probably, a number of other neighborhood high schoolers do too). People, the virus hasn't gone anywhere, just practice social distancing, wear your masks, and think smart.

  4. My garden is starting to come along. All my beans, corn, lettuce, and other seeds are coming up, and the tomatoes are starting to come out of their funk. Starting to get flowers on a few peppers and my tomatillo. Didn't see any last night on my tomatoes when I took the pictures.

  5. This thread will catch fire very soon. Braden's growth charts indicated that he would be 6'1 go 6'3 when he was a child. His mother is 5'8 and father is 6'3 What are his favorite schools you ask? In no particular order... MSU, Duke, and IU. This is a great kid that comes from a major basketball family. An INDIANA family. I'll bring you more info at a later date!

  8. Pretty sure you already know how to do a T-bone on a charcoal grill. Plenty of different methods out there. Here is just one guy's method : How to grill the BEST T-Bone steak you will ever taste! Steak is my go to choice for father's day. Two to two and a half inches thick. And whichever method you use. Enjoy ! And happy father's day.

  9. So I went to the local meat market yesterday and picked up some more slabs of baby back ribs I'm planning on cooking Sunday. Also got a T-bone steak I threw in freezer for fathers day weekend. Planning on trying the "snake method" for the ribs that @BeerBQ referenced above. I'll report results after.

  10. Yeah, Toyota Care covers the first 2 years or 25,000 miles of service. Tire rotation, fluids, multi-point inspection. They said they only change oil at 10,000 miles so didn't get that done today. Did get a little chip in her windshield repaired for $60. The windshield supposedly costs $5,000 to replace because it has all the cameras and such for the anti-collision and lane assist stuff, so $60 to guard against the spread seemed like a bargain.

  11. Glad to see he is adding some size. Love that he can stroke it too. I hate only having one pg on the roster at a time. Would love to add him with Thornton (who is going to get some time off ball this season). Plenty of playing time to go around and they both have different skill sets to compliment each other. I never want to have a situation like we had with Rob of nobody that can run the point with him hurt or on the bench.

  17. Forgot Henry Lee Summer... My friends and I use to go see him at a club in Greenwood called The Banyan Tree. Hung out with him at the bar alot. 10 years later, I was in Greenland perusing the small CD collection they had in the tiny BX, and lo and behold, there was Henry Lee on a self titled album (which is really pretty good). Bought it...took it to the NCO Club and had them play it, and the Danes all loved it... So if Henry Lee is wondering why he had an uptick in sales in Greenland and Denmark in the late 80s... You're welcome...
