  1. I hope WIll Wade and his "strong-*ss offers" get a show-cause. LSU deserves the hammer for standing by that sleazebag.

  5. At no point in human history has anyone been prepared for a pandemic, we cannot and never have been able to to control nature. Take the proper precautions and let it ride. Nothing we can do will stop it so let it ride. We cant experience another great depression because 1% of the US population might die.

  6. Do you ever rest ? Seems like you are bringing more IU information out than ever before, during this pandemic. It has not gone unnoticed , nor not appreciated. Thanks for all you do. And please stay safe.

  7. Oh yeah...sorry! I forgot about that. Let's maybe not use Skiles in this discussion. My error. I was thinking about the toughness aspect of both players as a point of comparison.

  11. Whenever I transfer a firearm for a new shooter, I spend about 15-20 minutes going over basic gun safety and basic education for their new firearm. I've also had range sessions for a couple of new owners this year. I see the 15-20 minute session during the transfer as the bare minimum before allowing a new owner to leave with their firearm. I encourage additional training, but that's on the owner. Thankfully, most new owners see the value in spending time learning the gun before walking out with it.

  12. I got an email from Ticketmaster today informing me that the Pacers / Warriors game I had tickets for on March 18th has been cancelled and that they would be refunding me within the next 30 days. It's heartwarming to know that, three months afterwards, they realized they've had my money all this time and they will only hold it for one more month. What a noble thing to do.

  15. There were two things that jumped out at me when I read TDH's interview. The first was the statement that his mom would move to wherever he played. I never considered that. I considered it something she would do if/when he went pro, but never considered it a possibility with college because of how close the extended family is, and most of them are right here in Sellersburg. Bloomington is a lot closer than Charlottesville (1.5 hours compared to 7.5 hours), but when you start talking conference road games, the ACC is not much worse than the Big Ten if you are starting in Sellersburg. 18. If I were guessing on undersized guards in this day and age? I'd say 130-150 range. Tops. Doesn't matter to me. Kid has that basketball skill every coach and team needs and wants. Make the offer, get the verbal and wink at the cage/league for 4 years while winning 25+...same for Gibbs but I think he'll be higher ranked when we get around to 23. Probably 50 range.

  20. A Tx atty who manages healthcare facilities had this to say (You may have to go to his twitter and click on the individual-links to see better) Basically, he says 1/2 the visits to the ER are people sent by employers to get a test, most positive cases are very mild, low fatalities and hospital beds are being filled by the people who put off care for the last couple months. He calls it a "positive story". Maybe there is something positive happening in TX? The few comments I read seem to back up his claim. Interestingly, the tweeter is an author and I think I have read a bo

  21. Based on my unscientific perusal of the first 5 rounds, I would guess Strasburg is the only other pitcher in the 2009 draft with more than 100 wins. Patrick Corbin was the next biggest name I saw and he has 70 wins. I could have overlooked something, but I'll go with Strasburg being the only one.

  22. Why do you offer these challenges that I have to look up. Then, when I see the results, I get pissed. To partially answer your question, Strasburg was in that draft. Of course, he went #1, so he was off the board when the Reds picked up Leake at #8. But, you know who wasn't off the board? Mike Trout was the 25th pick in the first round of that draft. And, to top it off, the Reds had two picks in the second round. Snagged the immortal Bradley Boxberger at #43 and Sliding Billy Hamilton at #57. You know who they could have picked instead? Nolan Arenado went to the Rockies at

  28. Freaking crazy. I have a federal firearms license that I got mostly for my personal collecting habit, but in the past 30 days, I've transferred about 70 guns...never seen anything like it. My "shop" is not advertised, save a very basic website that has a phone number but no street address, so I really don't go out of my way to do business since it's just a sideline apart from my day job. Several first-time owners in that mix too...all demographics. I've got ideas what's driving a dramatic upswing in gun and ammo purchasing, but I'm not going to diverge from the topic. I personally ank

  31. This is one of the 3 people from the firm Iowa hired for an internal investigation. After how they've handled this, I hope Ferentz and the whole university go down. Their fan comments on Twitter are disgraceful too. Iowa is quickly closing in on the group of MSU, PSU, and OSU...and not in a good way. Quote below is from the linked article. There is a lot more damning info about her acts at MSU too. Seems like a good person to do an independent investigation. https://www.freep.com/story/news/local/michigan/2018/05/10/michigan-state-university-william-strampel/590146002/ Zayk

  36. People fret about recruits all the time and try to read the tea leaves based on things like how long it's taking to commit. Sometimes taking longer than expected can be a sign the recruit will choose somewhere else (Brooks) and other times it just means he's weighing his options carefully but will still ultimately choose IU (Leal). I don't know about this site but on the other site when Leal didn't commit on the spot when getting the IU offer and then didn't commit even a few days later, there were people predicting doom and gloom and pronouncing "he gone." Obviously, that worked out in I

  37. Why bring Nojel into a conversation that has zero to do with him? The guy isn’t the most intelligent guy ever but he’s also not an idiot. Nojel’s downfall wasn’t because of lack of intelligence. His downfall was letting his mom run the show. Lack of maturity no question but he’s not dumb. Seems like a beating a dead horse situation at this point.

Dont often get to see a nice gesture lead to some else paying it forward. Also passed along one of the best pieces of advice I've heard, simply, what you do matters. And he remembered that.

Since I’m totally NOT “Bought into” this project I quickly became bored and day dreamed of happily going to the liquor store. Just then it hit me. A neighbor told me some months ago, he’s got a one man powered auger. In the UTV I lept and off I went. 43 cc’s of redneck amazement soon began and what would have been 2 hours, was complete in 7 minutes. Why am I the last to learn these new tricks? I’ve since ordered one, 110cc’s!!! ( I may find

Run their balls off. But.... teach them. Show them how awful this was. Show them why this is how disrespectful this is. I love our Hoosiers. I love them. I love every kid that made a mistake on that lake.

NEVER to touch another weapon the rest of my life. And have lived up to my pledge. Again. I have no problem with those that chose to do so, for peaceful purposes. Over and out.
