  1. Reporter- "what was the biggest difference between the preseason and your first regular season game of your career?" OG- "there were more fans" Both look blankly at each other....

  2. Put the upstairs windows in last year. Got to trimming the exterior out yesterday. I still have the interior to do...oh, and it looks like Tammy needs to clean the siding.

  3. I talked to OG at an IU camp. Well, that is I talked to him, he kind of just looked at me, like he was sizing me up. He was friendly with my kid, but he has that quiet predator feel to him. I always laughed at the comments that he needed to show more emotion. He’s got that quiet killer game. Another comparison to Kawhi.

  4. You know, the sad thing is, I'm just a novice fan and I remember thinking as the Pacers selected Leaf that they should have taken a flier on Anunoby instead. That was before either had played a game at the professional level. I just loved Anunoby from day one at IU. Even before he stepped on campus, his play and his interviews said "silent assassin". Regardless of his ranking, I absolutely agreed with Crean on that one. Too bad Crean wasn't in the Pacers draft huddle that year.

  5. @5fouls I would say they have built up some heard immunity. Sweden is going to be the test case for comparison of responses. Since they did nothing essentially, stayed open, no masks. Since the timeline is similar, if you go to worldometers and compare the graphs of Sweden, New York, and New Jersey they are pretty similar. Especially daily new deaths.

  6. Weekly winnings from purse. Can't choose same guy twice type of pool. We do different payouts for each month, most wins, most $ for for majors but otherwise pretty standard.

  7. Hard to say for sure if Japan would have surrendered with or without it. I would say Nagasaki wasnt necessary. I think the bigger goal was the US flexing their cajones to show the Russians what was up. I also think Japan deserved a punch in face for what they did to the Chinese. Especially for the Nanjing massacre.

  9. Well one of the "kids" wanted to buy one of my compressors for $50. Told him it didn't work. He didn't care. But i fixed it anyway. Love me some JB Weld.

  10. As of 2:30 Eastern, Zach Johnson sits at both the top and the bottom of the PGA leaderboard. Only in the year they call 2020.

  11. Familiar artist, familiar tune, but pure jam...to me, Frampton is very underrated in the world of guitar players...and the 70s was a GREAT decade to come of age...saw him in 76 or 77 at Market Square...fabulous...

  13. Anybody have favorite live clips? I have 2 that will always stick out: 1) My Morning Jacket on Late Night back in 2003. They blew away Conan, his reaction was priceless. 2) The Rock N Roll HOF tribute to George Harrison. Prince just TEARS it up. Even Tom Petty was like "WTF is going on?" And then at the end Prince throws his guitar up in the air and it never comes down....I'll never figure that one out.

  14. The more I research and learn, the more I'm becoming convinced 1000's have died unnecessarily here in the US. 2 biggest mistakes were nursing home policy and HCQ. In Turkey (where the mortality rate is roughly 1/4 of the US) , HCQ is used early.“Most of patients recover in five days,” Dr Yiyit insists.” http://covexit.com/turkeys-covid-19-early-hydroxychloroquine-treatment-strategy-featured-by-sky-news/ What would happen if we didn't treat the flu until people were sick enough to be hospitalized? Prevented people from obtaining medications to treat it? I don't understand why the most advanced countries, with supposedly the best health systems, have the worst outcomes. Again, the science is pretty conclusive- https://c19study.com/ (summary of all COVID studies)

  17. First off didn’t know he was from Bloomington nor did I know he won an NCAA championship with Kansas. Also how he got fired from Portland right before the draft but was told to go ahead and make the picks...that was weird. Yeah I mean I don’t think the PG thing was his fault..And not sure if he is to blame for the T.J. Leaf but he has been pretty good I agree.

  18. He was amazing in Portland too. He is one of the best GMs in basketball IMO.

  19. Pritchard has done a marvelous job in the front office for the Pacers. I mean the deals for Sabonis and Turner and the trades that landed Vic, Sabonis, and Warren...excellent. Good free agent acquisitions in McConnell, Brogdon, and even Mcdermott is paying off. If he can navigate the Vic situation the he will have done as well as any small market gm in a long time.

  21. I work with a guy that has a 10 yr old son that had to have his left leg amputated below the knee because they weren't able to see a Dr. Turns out he had a cancerous tumor in his foot that was inoperable. The collateral damage from these lockdowns is very real.
