  1. 247sports updated their 2021 player rankings. Duncomb moved up 12 spots to #63. This was a great get for IU.

  3. Building inspector here.... Uh-oh...I don't see any anchor bolts coming up from the concrete pad to secure your bottom plate. That will be a $1000 fine. And where is your building permit? It doesn't appear to be posted. That's another $1000 fine. (I take cash only)

  5. Hopefully the restructuring of colleges will be a good thing that comes from this virus. College costs and return on investment have been out of control.

  15. Glad to see commits moving up instead of down as has happened too many times recently. Congratulations Logan!

  16. I'd be happy enough with any of them having 3 birdies in the same round.

  17. Right! Probably should have it set to 30 cycles. Any way you slice it, positive cases have been vastly overstated influencing peoples actions and government policy accordingly.

  19. Tapcons are great, but I thought code was the ½" anchor bolts pertruding thru the concrete. Ramsets work great too. Much easier to install IMO. Just bustin' your chops Rico on the "building inspector". As much DIY stuff as you do, I had no doubt you had every base covered ! (but I was kind of hoping you'd ask "What's a building permit?") lol

  20. Well they make these blue things called "Tapcons" and the permit is in the window of my house. Nice try.

  22. This could be a topic all on its own, but agreed. The amount of useless majors out there are crazy.

  23. Definitely a good thing. College shouldn't be easy and way too many worthless degrees. My intro to Biology class was a 100 level class that was intended to weed out the non hackers. 200+ at the beginning maybe 30 of is moved on. Most of the quitters went to liberal arts or business majors. Art and art history, music, English!! (We all speak it), are things you can teach yourself for free.

  26. My wife is not a beer drinker but she bought me a 6 pack of Berry Weiss last year and I didn't care for it, but she actually likes it. Go figure ha.

  27. Wow it is pretty impressive that the Celtics could win the first two games on the road against the Raptors LOL! I was wondering how the playoffs would work out when you don't have the home court. To me in a bubble or where there are no fans it usually comes to the most talented teams winning and I think Boston is the more talented team.

  28. My wife and I were talking over the weekend about if this is still going on when my son graduates high school. We will not be paying on-campus tuition if he is not getting the full on campus experience. That would include actually being in a classroom and not learning virtually. We will let him take a year off, or go locally to IUS for a year until students can get back on campus and in the classroom.

  29. Well that even helps my point further. If they don't make that deal he would have further in the draft? I don't know but anytime the Spurs have somebody on their radar, I'd do a double check.

  30. My wife is a big fan of their Summer Shandy so we always have that on hand during the summers. It can be hard to find the regular Leinkugels. I have been drinking a lot of the Goose Island White Sox ale this summer to support my boys.

  31. I actually like the regular Leienkugel's beer...they sell Summer Shandy and Berry Weiss down here (and in my world, fruit and beer doesn't mix) but not the regular beer...

  33. Maybe Butler was just right about some of the guys he's played with? I mean, what have any of them done without him?
    1 point
  34. Yes I agree. The Bucks have the best record in the League and when they're spreading the floor they're the team that should make the Finals from the East, but I'm not discounting Miami at all, they're playing really well, together, on both ends, and to his credit, Butler is showing that he wasn't the locker room cancer he's known for. Maybe it's the Miami front office/Riley, maybe it's that he finally has a well balanced team around him, maybe he's finally matured, maybe a combination of all the above, yes, they're dangerous.
