  1. Becky and Ayden both tested negative. Thank God.

  2. This is the thing with trade speculation, it’s always so one sided by fans, it’s driven by what the fans of a team want without really looking at what the other team would demand (realistically). No way the Warriors di that, they’re far from stupid. Now if we were talking a front office like Sacto, well, different conversation lol

  5. Draft picks are like new cars, they're extremely valuable on the lot (when they're still picks) but they decrease in value once the pick is made. But make no mistake, even draft picks in the mid first round are valuable trade chips to GM's.

  6. Went into my Manhattan office today to do a few things and it was the first time I’ve been on the subway since March 13th. I waited until rush hour was over and headed out about 10am to the sub. Subways were pretty quiet and not too crowded. Pretty much everyone was wearing masks. At one point a couple wearing chinstraps got on and sat down right across from me. I got up and moved away from them and luckily the trains were quiet enough to get your own space. On the way home there was a big group of maskless people (chinstrappers) hanging out on the platform. You had to walk around them to get through. I would have mentioned it to the cops, but the group of chinstrappers were NYPD. They seem to get off on flouting the mask rules and I’ve seen people confront them, but it never really ends well. Overall, it wasn’t too bad and I enjoyed being in my office again. If the low rates hold here, I might start going in a day a week - still avoiding rush hours. One thing that struck me was the number of places near my office that were out of business. Places that relied on catering or morning/lunch rush were definitely hit the hardest. Many more For Lease signs in Manhattan than our neighborhood - it was shocking. All of those closures represent real people losing their jobs - the delivery people especially already had such hard jobs and now even those are gone. 2020 just blows.

  7. Good interview. Seems like a smart player with a good understanding of the game. His high school has produced some serious talent. Luckily it hasn’t been a pipeline to one school. We definitely need at least one—if not two—bigs in that class. I think he said he’s interested in business and marketing. Boy, do I have a school for him!

  9. Just be thankful you aren't in Illinois. On Tuesday, the governor said they were putting basketball on hold due to the surge of cases. On Wednesday, the IHSA said they would be moving forward with basketball, basically giving the middle finger to the governor's office. Last night, the state board of education said there could be consequences and liability issues for schools if they decide to play and defy the state's orders. Just crazy around here.

  10. I think he was the NFL MVP in 1968. But, yeah, a great backup to have. Super Bowl 3 he kinda bungled, and 7 he didn't get a chance when Shula went back to Griese who had been injured early in the season.

  11. Apparently the Bucks and Pacers have had some talks centered around Vic. I would think that would possibly need to be a 3 team deal to make salaries work.

  12. Not saying Turner is great but to me he is better than anyone in this draft. He is still young enough and will be under contract so it wouldn't be like a rental.

  13. Well he’d be an assistant that has NBA ties and doesn’t have to recruit players.

  15. If they can land him then more power to them. That would be a good fit. Also bad for Orlando. They have talent but it’s all a hodge podge that doest fit together. Wiggins wouldn’t help that. Of course that is why Orlando is always Orlando. They don’t win trades.

  17. I agree they'll look to package the #2 and Wiggins, but there is no chance they're doing that for Myles Turner. The Pacers would have to throw in just about every 1st round pick they can include and multiple other players for the Warriors to even remotely entertain that.
