  1. Where did you find the Justin Smith video? 🤣🤣

  2. Justin Smith underrated? Nah. He could fill a stat sheet but his driving and outside shooting left a lot to be desired. With some of the things he (supposedly) said, I'm not really sorry he moved on. IU should gain both in efficiency and chemistry. Jerome...now that young man I'm really looking forward to watching blossom. Not hard to root for a young man who's overcome what he did...send it in, Jerome!!!

  5. I have been interested in Covid from the beginning. I'm relatively healthy and, while now in my 50s, am not terribly worried about getting it myself. I have the flexibility to work from home. I wear the masks primarily because it is required in any of the places I go. I'm not going to be a rebel and not wear one. If it helps me, great. If others feel more comfortable or protected, great. I post info that I come across that I find interesting. Sometimes on the economic side as I come across that regularly. Other times pieces that I don't think others are likely to have seen and therefor

  6. I like Al Durham, I really do. He's going to be an important player on this team. I think towards the end of the season last year he was playing as well as any guard/wing on the roster. Archie had him running baseline a lot and curling off of little elbow screens and Al was getting into the paint and drawing and 1's and was hitting little mid-range jumpers, etc. He was playing really well. With that said, I think it would be huge for this team if a few guys (Lander, Phinisee, Hunter, Race, or potentially Geronimo or Franklin) made a leap that pushed a hopefully willing Al Durham to the 6

  7. Said it before and will again. If you did not know which was Romeo and which was Jerome or would not have been able to tell by their play going into their freshmen season. Once it all comes back together I still feel he will be playing in the NBA.

  8. Really looking forward to watching Jerome show this year

  9. Agree with previous replies on all accounts. My lineup is Rob, Lander, Jerome, Race, and TJD as well....but I think Archie is going to change things up more than he's done recently. The days of guys getting their start and exact minutes are over.

  10. I've said this all along... I don't think Galloway will start unless the difference in play is so stark that he'd be poised to be on the All B10 Freshman team, and I can't see that being the case. I agree with @5fouls that the lineup we see on 11/25 won't be the one we finish with. That said, I'll go with what I've said from the time Lander committed... Rob Al Lander Brunk TJD Now @Hoosierhoopsterthought that's the lineup I wanted to see, but that's not the case. I haven't been to the practices, and even if I had been I'm quite positive my eye for what's

  12. Not me, it’s factually accurate. The measuring kicks into gear this year, fair or not, he’s getting measured for real impact now. On the article, no problem with the others but Ville at 6 and disregarding it’s vacated season is just wrong

  13. You get to a certain age, and you start collecting Drs like they're baseball cards or something... I have a cardiologist, orthopedic, dermatologist, and a GP so far... Looking to trade the dermatologist for a good gastroenterologist though...

  14. Romeo may well be a bust. I hope not, but I wouldn't be upset if the Celtics gave up on him and he came home to the Pacers and blossomed there instead (no offense intended, @BGleas).

  15. That’s good to hear...imagine the negativity on this board if we lost. Archie would definitely be on the hot seat!

  16. This is where I'm at as well. I completely understand and appreciate the injuries. Heck, I've used them in defense of the team Langford's year at IU. But again, we're going on 2 years of bad shooting. It's not like shooting where you can see he's close or the form is there but there's one thing wrong. His shot looks completely broke and his confidence is in the gutter. I watched him last year and his misses were bad and his makes from the perimeter typically caught a lot of rim before going in. Nothing is pure at all. He's going to have to completely rebuild his jump shot. He can c

  17. I don't think it's equally likely that he just needs to be healthy to become a good NBA shooter and scorer. There are tons of guys who don't have issues that can't make that translation from being a great high school shooter and scorer to the NBA, let alone a guy with two years of injuries. I think everyone on this board wants to see Romeo succeed, but at this point I think the most reasonable approach is to say he needs to prove he is good at shooting rather than give him the benefit of the doubt he can do it when he is healthy.

  18. I'll defer to Coach Miller as to who his starters should be. He's the one watching practice. Not me.

  19. I understand not feeling that strongly, but he was voted a team captain. I don’t feel like (from the outside) he was "all in". Could certainly be wrong though. Just doesn't add up to me.

  20. Having to come back from an entire lost year — not even practicing — and as a frosh, from a serious health issue, is a major hurdle. He stuck through it with good spirits all season, including through limited playing time while getting his timing, conditioning, strength, and just as important confidence back. By year end he looked to be close to getting that level of his game back — he wasn’t all the way there but a lot closer. I am really pulling for Jerome. From everything I’ve heard he’s been continuing to get back to that level and has added strength to go with his shooting,

  22. I don't know if I would take what Coyle says because he makes so many mistakes in his show. Like yesterday he predicted us going 19-14 even though we are only playing 27 games.

  24. Long guitar intro here by Nancy Wilson on Crazy on You. If you want to skip to like 1:45, it’s where she settles in to the intro. Then at about 2:15, she crouches down and just goes off on the main riff. Love this. Also, all this Tom Petty talk made me break out Damn the Torpedoes for a listen.

  25. Iirc either Community or IU health advertises a heart scan for cheap. My buddy did one and they found a large blockage. He's been eating clean, exercising way more and has been able to control or reduce without meds.

  26. He won't have to. I'd expect him to sign a deal similar to the Al Horford deal last year but maybe slightly less and the Pacers can match that salary with players they have to make the trade work.

  27. What? Hunter loses a whole year to a bad health condition, comes back a redshirt frosh after losing a whole year, by end of year is contributing significantly and shooting plus 40 percent from deep and you post, in response to a parent’s post, it’s about time? Please think before you post

  29. Just wanted to follow up on this one. CC is the third person I've known (directly or indirectly in this case) over last 6 months to pass away suddenly. I've had moments myself over the past 8 months where things haven't been right. Finally scheduled a Calcium Content CT Scan. Couldn't believe how quick and easy it was. $49 to make sure your heart and surrounding area is clear of buildup. Did mine this morning. My score was 0 which is a good thing. I'd strongly suggest to anyone to schedule one just to make sure the kicker is right. Good things can come from bad. Maybe others will jo

  30. I see a few different combinations Archie might use during the start of the season but for game one I am going with the following. Lander Rob Durham Hunter Jackson-Davis I believe all 11 players will see action, for Archie to use different line up's as the early part of season.

  31. Absolutely love the hell out of Tom Petty. If you didnt know Tom took guitar lessons from Don Felder of Eagles fame. My favorite albums are Damn the Torpedoes and Wildflowers. But every thing that man touched was gold.

  32. So, Ruthie the foster kitten went to her furever home about two weeks ago. She really captured our heart in the five days she was with us and it felt good to help get a kitten placed into a home. So, we are fostering two 16-week old kittens currently. They are INSANE and so much fun. They can go from being a purr machine in your lap to attacking each other in an instant. We’ve had them since Saturday and not sure how long they will be here. Otis the cat is not amused by their hijinks. Chloe the dachshund loves them and one of the kittens just adores her. That’s been sweet to see.
