Obviously no guarantees but his interactions on twitter show me how loved he is. Guys in the league, former players....even his little nephew. Glad IU started getting serious again. Him and Hunter on the trail along with wisdom experience of Woodson/Matta...and Big 10 wisdom in Fife. Couldn't imagine a better assembled staff going right now.

I'm saying I don't want a big stage like that for either of them within our border...We haven't done it like that in a while, and I'm happy with that... If they want to continue the rivalry, do it on the campuses... Believe me, at one time, IU/UK was THE rivalry in college basketball...And it can be again...

Exactly what I said. Is there evidence the back problems are from lifting? We can see the absolute failure on the court for multi reasons.. hence why Archie was fired. I've not seen weight lifting issues.. there might be, but where are they? And if they are there.. why was Marshall retained?

He won’t have to. Edy avg 14 mins a game last year. He can’t stay on the floor that long. Maybe 20 tops. Woodson will pull him out way on the floor and run a pick n roll all day and expose him away from the basket.

Interesting to see it appears she was also involved in getting esports going at here old school. So not only does she get Athletics but also is in tune with the next generation of competition. IU has zero presence in esports right now and I have been told Glass wanted nothing to do with it though many schools actually align esports with Athletics. This is encouraging on many levels.

Pappas Seafood and Pappadeaux's (both part of the same chain) have a killer Grilled Chicken Caesar. Of course their regular Caesar dinner salad is great too...going to Pappadeaux's tonight for Chilean sea bass with crab au gratin and cheese grits with andouille sausage. Pretty good cajun food for a chain.

I like home and home with UK, but nothing compares when they played in Indy and Louisville- and the crowd was split red and blue- epic atmosphere and games. Seems like they were always Saturday afternoon prime time game. I miss playing them, I remember when we had the head to head lead.

I want to play UK every year but home and away, make them come to Bloomington and play then we will go to Lexington and play. Let the Crossroads Classic be a showcase for Indiana teams. (That includes Purdue I guess.) 🙄 I like the OP's idea, but Cal is coming off a 9-16 season with a program on a downward spiral. He won't be scheduling any tough out of conference games the rest of his time at UK.

Early on I expect offers to be flying but after a couple of recruiting cycles I hope we can get to where an offer from IU is known as hard to come by.

Would appear as if the Pacers will be picking between 10 and 15 in the draft barring a late season run down the stretch or an even larger collapse then they’ll be higher than that. With that being said lots of good talent in that range to get a guard, wing or stretch four. This was done in the 80's, it was the Big 4 Classic at the Hoosier Dome and included, IU, UK, UofL and ND.

This has a chance to be the most intriguing (and hopefully fun) summer recruiting season in years and years. I hope Coach Woody gets out there himself and sees who he likes himself and not just delegates it. We’ve got three assistants and hopefully a head man who can relate well to players and parents alike, I think. Here’s hoping to a huge recruiting year. I am curious where we are with guys like Karaban, Shawn Phillips, Braden Smith, and a couple DC kids from the prior efforts. But we can see Coach Yasir and presumably Dane also have some connections.

Don't hold me to it, but I think Indiana Wesleyan showed interest.

I don't know where we dredged a rivalry with Louisville up...We've only played them 15 times in our history... UK is our traditional rival, and anyone who lived through the 70s will tell you it's as intense as any in college basketball...And I would much rather see a home and home on college campuses than a centralized "big event" with them...

Wouldn’t be surprised if Washington slips some due to his injury. Loyer is already top 100 on rivals and should be a consensus top 100 when all is said and done. Hell Goode was consensus 94th and Loyer is better than him.

I think Loyer will be right there. As of now, they’d be 1/2 IMO.

I can help here. I voted on our ballot. Basically you pick 12 guys. Rank em 1-12 in order of importance to you. 1 being Mr Basketball. I won’t lie, Luke Brown got my vote. So it will depend who got the most amount of lower number votes. I’m guessing players 9-12 and 13-18 will be within 40-50 votes of each other, meaning 13-18 were that close to making it

I will try to keep this informative and apolitical, but if you want to contact your elected representatives in Congress about any issue, the best way is to call (not email or write) their DC office (and, if busy, their district offices secondarily) and tell them what issue you feel strongly about. They'll likely ask for some information (address or ZIP) to make sure you actually live in their district - don't call members outside of your district, they don't really care what you think. You can't vote for them. Take note that the people answering the phones are either unpaid interns or poorly paid junior staffers. Their job is to keep record of the volume of constituent feedback for or against a particular issue. Every elected official is different, but many take the overall array of feedback quite seriously. They'll still note your concern if you yell at them, but are you really mad at a 22 year old fresh out of college? If you call your state or local elected officials, be even nicer - if they have staff at all, they share them between 2-3 elected officials normally.
