If ESPN gets caught doing what is alleged, I hope they get taken to the cleaners.7 points

All of it. Absolutely all of it. Thank you Tom Allen for producing a team I can absolutely be proud of. This stuff means a lot to me. This isn't Christmas or Thanksgiving.... this is a Wednesday in July when it's 95 out. They gave up video games for the day, whatever else to serve others. (Not that someone is wrong for helping on those days)... just wanted to point out how unique this is. Good on them.7 points

It's incredible. Feels like its our payment for dealing with so much heartbreak and losing from the past. Honestly makes it all worth it in my book.4 points

It’s seems well known that breakthrough cases are real, but how many were actually experiencing symptoms? Probably because they were on some mandatory testing protocol they were found otherwise they probably would have never known. I understand that vaccinated can catch and spread Covid, but I got vaccinated so I could take my mask off! Just because those who are choosing to not get vaccinated are at risk? Kind of like saying I need to stop driving to work because I might get in an accident with an unlicensed driver 🤷🏼♂️4 points

I can't help but wonder if this is all going to backfire myself. I mean c'mon, Texas football makes lots of money but they haven't been in the NC picture for awhile. The 'Horns might struggle win many games in the SEC. I also seems like OU is jumping out of a pond that they were the big fish in and jumping into a bigger pond with more big fish.3 points

You have to figure there will be a response of some sort by the B1G, PAC whatever, and ACC. I think the SEC egos are running a little wild when they think Ohio State and Michigan would bend over backwards to join them. Hell, Texas fans think they're coming in to run things in the SEC. Texas is the super hot crazy girl. Good luck SEC!3 points

If it wasn’t mentioned alumni’s Blake Pieroni and Zach Apple brought home gold in the 400 FR and Lilly King got a bronze in the 100 breast. 🔴⚪️🔴⚪️ #Represent3 points

Did you see Steve Spurrier’s quote about Texas? He said something along the lines of they can’t even win the B1G XII.2 points

Almost forgot. India reached base today. That marked the 100th time, this month, that he reached. He also reached base 100x last month. Only 1 other Red in history has reached base 100x in consecutive months. His name? Frank Robinson. Jonny needs to keep it up the rest of the season. #RoY2 points

At this point they probably figure they are going to get to kick Texas a$$ for the next 10 years and make more money so why not!2 points

Oh come on...I hope they get their @sses kicked as well, but that was still funny!!!2 points

Also, at last update IU had the most medals of any school with 6. They technically tied with Florida but won a tie breaker on gold count.2 points

This doesn't have anything to do with the B1G or IU but it is pretty funny lol.2 points

I didn't see a whole lot of improvement in our players no. I looked at Justin Smith across his career and didn't see much improvement other than what comes naturally with getting older and having experience. Same with Al. Same with Green. Same with Rob. I saw some improvement with Race...but again more to do with opportunity and his physical growth...he never showed a jump shot. No one ever got significantly better shooting. Trayce didn't really take a big leap. Could he even hit a 15 footer by year two? Our freshman last year...Lander??, Leal???, are you telling me Galloway was better at the end of the year then the beginning...because I sure didn't see a leap. Franklin I'll give you credit for. Is he the norm or is he the outlier under Archie??? There is always some natural progression from getting older, stronger, and more experience but for the most part I stand by my analysis and you may disagree with me and that is perfectly fine....but Archie did not do a very good job of developing our guys offensively.2 points

True though. Arc flashes can happen. And you and I know a guy that worked as an electrician at IPL. Standing in front of a panel happens alot.1 point

Yeah…I changed my post and added a little to it. They definitely are…and they are going to be everyone’s favorite whipping boy in the SEC West.1 point
-
Yeah they were hated in the BIG 12 and i would imagine they will be hated in the SEC in no time at all.1 point

Obviously this was a Texas fan that made this…and this right here is why they are considered the douchebags of the Big 12. Can’t wait til they become Nebraska south once they start posting losing records in the SEC.1 point

It may have been mentioned among the Biles discussion but the IU divers have scored silver medals so far: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/olympics/capobianco-hixon-add-u-s-divers-synchro-success-take-olympic-n1275248 https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/olympics/2021/07/27/delaney-schnell-jessica-parratto-olympics-silver-synchronized-diving/5382896001/ Capobianco has another chance to medal in the individual 3m springboard competition.1 point

Home vs N. Illinois on 11/12. That’s usually around the date the season starts, so I wouldn’t be shocked if it’s the opener.1 point

I'm still counting it as gold for women's gymnastics. Russia never should have been invited back after 2014.1 point

The Delta variant is rapidly spreading in much of SEC country (in areas with low vaccination rates…..go figure). It will be a massive bummer, although not as important as people’s health, if this ends up impacting attendance levels at college football games. Really looking forward to the excitement of full stadiums but the outlook for that happening is not as positive as it was a few weeks ago.1 point
