  1. I've seen that one before and I laughed as much this time as I did then. This is an all-time classic.

  2. I had heard he was on campus but never got any additional info about the visit. I find it interesting that it comes on the heels of the Fears visit. Could be telling but not sure what it is telling. Trying to get in before Fears or are we not as confident with Fears. Or would we take both. Lots of possibilities but to take 2 trips on your own dime speaks volumes to me

  4. Getting back to Covid, Why are we not being bombarded by the benefits of exercise and healthy eating? Why is it that nearly two years into this pandemic, getting early treatment for Covid-19 that can prevent hospitalization and death is still extremely difficult? These continued attempts to ignore proven methods of boosting the immunity and undermine early treatment protocols, as well as the constant attacks against anyone skeptical of the prevailing narrative, give the impression that certain interested parties are hesitant to bring the pandemic to an end.

  9. Speaking of football, is football killing the COVID narrative? Fauci had said stadiums full of unmasked fans would be superspreading events. Yet after the first couple of weeks, we see cases dropping. It's still early but I think the trends will continue.

  15. I don't know what we should have done honestly. I know after 2-3 years the whole thing wasn't working. Just hoping Kyle gets his big payday soon and rakes wherever he's at. Honestly...Cincy makes a ton of sense.

  23. To his credit he did predict a global pandemic during Trumps term back in 2017.....then it came true. (I'm discounting that he was also funding gain of function research at the Wuhan Lab so maybe he had some heads up lol)

  24. Haha. I remember he had to do some work underneath for the bathroom. I was maybe 8 or 9. Since I was small enough I had to dig some space out and he was able to lay on his back and get close enough to plumb blind overhead. I had to hand him the tools. I think I'm claustrophobic because of that.

  25. Yeah, THIS part, I DO have a problem with, and I don't have an answer. I think it's utter BS that we pay a huge percentage of the freight here in the U.S. while other countries buy the same meds for pennies on the dollar. My supposition is that other countries simply threaten to not honor U.S. drug patents if they don't get huge discounts and U.S. pharma just shrugs and considers it incremental profits after our citizens have already paid for all of the R&D.

  27. 😂 I'm pulling for you man, but as for me, I came to the conclusion after I turned 50 and hit my "peak earning years" that the plumber was far cheaper than the cost of my time and aggravation, so I started outsourcing...a lot. I'm even tempted to hire a lawn service but felt like I needed the workout, so I'm still mowing for now. Plumbing is probably my least favorite, but back in the late '90's when I was a young married man and had more time than money, me and my father-in-law replumbed the entire house in a weekend. Went from copper, which was pitted and had sprung a couple of leaks, to pvc. It was probably the least fun weekend in my life and near the end, I told my father-in-law I'd rather be whipped than do any more plumbing. He got a good laugh, but I think he understood where I was coming from. Copper plumbing is from the devil. I don't know who ever decided that was a good idea.

  30. I would have to think that it happening while the sprinklers are on, is just a coincidence. The only correlation that I could possibly think of, is the water pressure in the whole system drops with the volume being used by the sprinklers causing the valve in the fill mechanism to not seal off. BUT I would think it would actually be opposite of this, unless the fill mechanism uses supply water pressure as a pilot for the shut off valve, which I think would be very complex for a dad gum commode fill mechanism. I'd go spend $10 and put a new fill mechanism in it. And I am surprised that no one has suggested.... Just giggle the handle! or is that not a joke anymore?

  37. Don't envy those calls....as a rule I try to avoid Thursday if I can just for the simple reason if they stink I'll think about it until Sunday. Haha. One guy that is slowly growing on me and might be available still in some leagues is Patrick from Denver especially with Jeudy down. I think Anderson comes around but as you said tons of questions. On top of that Ben is hurt too. Good luck!

  38. Really happy to see all of the talk on diet/exercise. I won’t say what the answer is for everyone, b/c I don’t know. But what works for me is eating healthier foods with a limited number of ingredients and lots of movement every day. If you can’t run or bike, walk. Do it early and do it often. Walking absolutley makes a HUGE difference. We noticed that when we moved from Indy (driving city) to NYC (walking city). For foods, I eat whole grains and non-processed foods. My goal started by saying I wouldn’t eat anything with more than five ingredients or anything with ingredients that I can’t pronounce or identify. I’ve relaxed that a bit, but it does help. When people say to avoid carbs or bread, I think that’s fairly unrealistic for long term. Just buy bread that’s made with bread ingredients - water, flour, and salt. It’s simple. Same with pasta. Don’t buy overly processed crap that the food industry is desperate for you to eat. There’s a reason grocery stores and fast food restaurants are designed like they are. They want and need you to eat more, more, more. Fad diets absolutley do not work - or they may work for a bit and then you yoyo back to that original weight. One thing that works for me is having a hot wife 11 years younger than I am. She runs marathons and is super acitve. It behooves me to do the same. 😂 I’m also a vegetarian, but I don’t think that’s necessary to lose weight. Just means I eat a lot more veggies and fruits, and avoid high fat, cholesterol red meat. I’m 53 and wear the same size in jeans I did in high school. Definitely in better shape and more muscle tone than back then though.
