I kept waiting for Trump to take this seriously and create some smart, effective mandates - I would have 100% been behind his decision if he did. I don’t really obsess over what politicians do or don’t do regarding COVID anymnore. They are as a group, the most venal, hateful, and greedy people in our nation. We pay their salary so they can further divide us - it’s maddening. Honestly, think this has only been political b/c the politicians (and the people who follow them) are obsessed with keeping score and being right. It’s exhausting seeing how this has further divided us. I mean, I’m super liberal, but I can’t stand the yappy, far left accounts on Twitter who are still cryassing about Trump. I’ve muted so many of them.

I knew WKU was going to put up a fight and make us earn every point! I never one time thought this game would be a blowout. So we win by 2…..on the road and in front of their largest crowd in years. Not only did we win by 2 little points, but we never gave up the lead. Sure I’d love to see a lopsided road win over WKU and the likes, but we still won. Penix, including the O-line, RB’s and receivers needed this performance badly! On the flip side, the defense did too. They didn’t look the greatest, but held on. They now have something to look at vs. future hurry up offenses. Heck, Iowa gets by Colorado St. by only 10. At the end of the day, those small teams are hungry too and “a dog still has to eat!”

Actually a good win. Gaining confidence with Penix and regardless of what some will say or think....WKU would beat 2-3 teams in the Big 10. Very good team....and I have no clue what Helton was thinking not going for the 4th and 2. Either way. 2-2 and ready to roll with Penix feeling good.

Did anybody see the WaPo piece that got a hold of of all the internal studies that FaceBook has done? The ones that say people are more depressed and suicidal because of social media? The ones that show their algorithms are highly addictive divide people? Again these are internal studies and they are doing absolutely nothing about it. If you want to get angry, listen to any interview with Tristan Harris, a former employee of Facebook. The algorithms bring posts with the most comments and activity to the top of your feed. Naturally these tend to be highly divisive and extreme posts that get people to fight. Many of these posts are false, greatly spun, and/or have sensational headlines for the sole purpose of getting this type of engagement. Because high engagement equals clicks. Clicks equal advertising. Advertising equals money. FB makes its money off of our data so they can allow corporations to hyper target advertising to us. And even more messed up, we willingly give FB our data FOR FREE.

One thing I miss about Wilson’s play calling is the hurry up offense. Im not saying that should be the case the entire game, but we need a little of that to keep teams guessing. I know I’m not the only one on here wishing we had a little of that. I mean, good grief,…..our defense was gassed.

I guess I would make a terrible cop. I'd rather take a nap or watch Netflix than bother with people like that. But I would issue turn signal violations like no other.

No true “deep” throws but it seemed like we could feast routinely in that 10-15 yard area.
