  3. Indiana. Not sure if he will take all his visits or not. Shouldn't matter.

  4. They did. They lost to a 16 seed instead of a 15 seed.

  6. Hey Guys!! I just wanted to apologize for some of the things I said on Btown. I got called out by a long time member and I deserved it. I was taking frustration out on the entire board when it was only a handful of posters. Not saying I’ll be over here all the time like before but I won’t be a stranger. Brad F*cking Stevens boys!!! LFG!

  7. Missed all you guys. Not going to lie when Mile left us this place was just different for me. Hope everyone is well especially all of you past Hoosier crazies like myself! Let’s get Boogie now!

  8. I'm trying to think of a player in somewhat recent IU history that deserves for this season to end with a lot of winning and a deep run more then Trayce Jackson-Davis. I really, really hope it happens for this team and him in particular. He has earned it and deserves it.

  9. IU received another Rivals FutureCast pick for Boogie from a Rutgers writer, Richard Schnyderite.

  10. All-timer. Just a special talent who gave it his all for 4 years and stayed through some rough times. Not to mention a class act and phenomenal representative for the university. 3rd in points, 1st in rebounds, 1st in blocks in program history. Legend.

  11. We just beat #1 Purdue. At home. With 4 Indiana players out or injured. In front of a dozen elite visiting recruits, including multiple Top Tens. WHAT A GREAT DAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO Indiana !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. Laugh at me if you want, but this game is every bit as big as the UNC game. B1G opener on the road at a place we have struggled at for a number of years against a projected middle of the pack conference team. This is the kind of game we have to win if we want to be serious B1G title contenders.

  13. Galloway becoming a 3 pt threat is so huge. He is so valuable to this team. Dude is just a winner. Always giving it everything he has.

  14. I doubt many rivals are looking forward to battling this dude once Coach Woodson get his hands on him. Just wreaks of bada$$.

  15. I followed the Stevens saga the last couple of days on Btown Banners, but this is home When your house burns down you may have to visit friends for a couple of days. But this is home and this is my family. It's good to be home.

  16. In the past--- the exact day Brunk would transfer, 3 days before knowing Romeo was for sure going to IU, getting a heads up that Kaufman was going to PU, and the fact Lander was committing to IU about 2 days before he did.... have been passed along to me by a "source" who is one of the most connected guys to Indiana HS basketball... and as you'll notice, those were all IN HS basketball kids... My source says Kanon is coming to IU. His source is NOT twitter. lol I understand how that sounds, but again, this guy has been nails before and doesn't comment on everything because he simply doesn't have info on everything. As always, we will see and these things are fluid.

  17. IU in the lead, UK still too close to call. Like our chances here though. Woody is killing it with these kids but more importantly with the parents and especially moms!

  18. There is a LOT to like about this Indiana team. For the first time in years, they play with heart and even swagger. Like they belong. They may not finish in the Top 20. I don't care. I like these players.

  20. On Nov 2, 2020 we lost CC and then on December 17th 2020 we lost Milehi. So many times when I am on this board I am reminded of these men that helped shape a forum that we dearly love. In the past year every holiday or special event has been a first for their loved ones without them. As we are in the Holiday season I just wanted to bring both of these men back to the front page and to remember them. Both of these guys invited my family to visit them if we ever got our West and they both made sure to check in and to see how Ayden was and how I was doing. I am saddened that I never got to meet either in person. I miss them but feel their spirit here each and everyday. To CC and MILEHI we miss you and thank you for all that you did to make HSN the amazing place that we love.

  21. I just share what I am told. Not trying to lead people along. Isn't that what message boards are for? If he goes to Bama, so be it. I'll continue to share what is told to me. A lot of it comes from players on the team. We will know this afternoon. I still have hope.

  23. I massively endorse this hire! Armond Hill was an assistant on Doc Rivers staff with the Celtics when I worked there. Just a tremendous person and a great coach, especially in the area of working with players individually and guiding/mentoring. Love this hire. I'll repeat again, I was extremely discouraged by the Mike Woodson hire and was very vocally against it. But after cooling off and digesting it for a few days after the announcement, I came back to the board and said that what Scott Dolson was doing seemed far more strategic in terms of building a pro-style program that the top players want to be apart of, as opposed to just lazily "hiring an IU guy". What Dolson has done here, and in turn what Mike Woodson is executing is a clear and direct plan for putting IU back on top in college basketball. How can players not be sold on joining a program being led by Mike Woodson, Thad Matta, Armond Hill and Dane Fife, and that's before even getting to the other two assistants who by all accounts are great recruiters, etc.

  24. I guess I don't really know why people are freaking out. Dolson clearly stated that you wont hear from him again until they hire a coach. He doesn't owe us anything to be honest, so what are people getting on him for? We just fired Archie...a week ago or so? I personally love the silence from him, he's all business. He's doing his homework and not just hiring someone to hire someone. Did I fall for the Stevens rumor, sure, but I think a lot of people did. For all we know he told these players they are welcome to enter the transfer portal until he tells them who the coach is. I don't blame any of the players.

  30. People need to understand that Coach Woodson believes in defined roles for his guys. We (fans) view Miller's role as a spot up 3 point shooter and nothing more. Clearly, Coach has defined a different role for him, and he actually.plays it well. He is perhaps our best team defender (not one on one), is always directing people.on the court and makes 3 or 4 solid hustle plays per game. That's the role he is assigned. Not a spot up shooter. That's the fans perspective. He plays his ACTUAL role quite well most of the time.

  32. On Friday I was still hearing good things. Stayed away from all non family things until Sunday night. I was as shocked as everyone once I checked a few messages. I text a friend that confirmed NC was gone. We coukd not have been in a better position to land him. Like others have said almost every thing I hear from outbid state recruits are from people close to Indiana basketball. In state multiple outlets for info. Hate to lose him but I won't stop posting what I hear and I always say what I think at that moment. If it changes so be it.

  33. hey y’all, Ricky checkin’ in.. for those of you who don’t know me; do your damn research.. i am the most trustworthy insider in the history of IUMBB. for years, i have predicted some of our most glorious commitments.. Romeo Langford? Ricky called it.. Trayce Jackson-Davis? yep; Rick knew.. now, a smaller number of you may know that i happen to be the team masseuse for this program. i rub the agony of the day’s practice out of each and every one of these young men, and in return they supply me with information.. today, i’m here to speak on Boogie Fland.. as most of you know, Boogie is down to three schools, or so the media believes.. Indiana, Kentucky, and Alabama. Kentucky, one of the sh*ttiest programs in all of Division 1 hoops, is said to have the closest shot alongside the Hoosiers. from what Woody told me this morning at brunch, Boogie’s not interested in making love to any relatives, so Nate Oats and the Tide couldn’t offer him much. on Friday, Boogie Fland will commit to Indiana University, and i will ingest an entire pecan pie in celebratory fashion before my wife gives me some absolute treatment. Hammer Hoosiers. - Barrel Rick, 2023 sponsored by Hormel Chili, Trojan Condoms, St. Marco’s First Baptist Church, and Best Buy of Columbus, Indiana.

  36. Ware is this coming from? I can't seem to Knecht the dots on this one. Seems like it is Ledlem out there.

  37. Ware is done. Now they can sell Ledlum on playing with him. Then try and sell Knecht on joining the group.

  38. I don’t often get inside info (which is to say, pretty much never) but I do have a solid source on this and just talked with him, it will be Jordy in this recruiting coordinator role. Stakes are low here since it’s not a recruit so I don’t feel the risk of being skewered if wrong but 99.9% take it to the bank on Hulls returning

  39. Correct. Early to mid October. Indiana.
