Indeed. It’s short sighted money grab. Kids will have no legacy anymore…any connections to an Alma mater etc will be gone because you sold out your schools. Something to be said for staying 4 years and building a lasting legacy and connection to the school that you will carry the rest of your life.7 points

He did… that entire team loved them some barley pop, with Jeffries and Leach being about the only exceptions. I can remember many parties with many of the guys from the team back then. TC could do keg stands with the best of them. AJ would get, well it wasn’t pretty back in those days. I’ll never forget going to the Waffle House off of College Ave after a football game and having to get AJ outta the bathroom, because he was passed out leaning against a urinal and stall, barely holding himself up… those were the days!6 points

The last time that Indiana had a red headed shooter, everything turned out to be pretty Goode.6 points

I agree with this to an extent, but I dont want to rebuild a roster of 6 guys from the portal every year. In state kids especially with the level of talent that Sisley has, are the type to build around and less likely to transfer generally speaking. In state/home connection, with PT, with $$$. No reason to go somewhere else. This year we have 3-4 starters from the portal. I think we hit homeruns, but I cant see that happening every year. Sisley and Sisley type players would bring a bit more stability. Yes you could say... what about CJ Gunn. And I would say... well Gallo came back to possibly come off the bench, and Leal came back for 5 minutes a game.5 points

And if it's a leased aircraft, odds are, the university is paying for X flight hours per month anyway, regardless if they're used or not.4 points

Goode. He's already proven capable of playing the exact role we need in the Big Ten. With Anderson you're hoping it translates playing up a couple levels from the ASUN, the 26th ranked conference on Torvik.4 points

Goode Physically, they're both the same size. Anderson's raw numbers are better, but Goode has spent the last 3 years in the B10 and will have a step up in terms of already knowing opponents schemes, nuances, etc.3 points

This is why women’s basketball is soaring. Not just Clark but all of women’s basketball. Holmes at IU for so many years and Tyra before her. Chloe staying and even with Syd transferring in and Scalia they built a home at IU.3 points

I still say the only reason we lost that title game is because he wanted to win so bad its the only game he ever played sober and it thru him off. 🥴😂3 points

Carlyle was asked to do too much last year with all the facilitating of the offense he was expected to do. Him playing with Rice makes him so intriguing!3 points

No worries, my friend. I would hate to be called out on every thing I post. No one is going to be clean by that definition. We are all IU fans and want the best.3 points

Bringing over your response to this thread... I'd insert Gallo as the 3 in your fast lineup. Step 1 of the rebuild - assembling the roster- is coming together nicely. Now we just need to see step 2- this team learning to play together- and step 3- coaching and in game adjustments to take advantage of this roster- to fall into place.3 points

Well…I’ve officially arrived at “hell, we’re gonna be really talented and potentially 10 deep next year” conversation. I hated where we were and where we were going in February. My glasses are back on. also, insider info here, but our offensive line will be receiving a transfer from Louisville. Have his brother in my class. 6’8 330ish3 points

Does he have a baby hook? The guy from NC State was pretty nice last year. At the very least he could beat up whatever 7'13" guy Purdouche has next year. 😈2 points

Ok, gonna start deleting posts. No disrespect meant, but gonna keep this a little more on point. This is clearly a discussion for the Mike Woodson thread, or a new thread about roster construction. Valid debates, wrong place.2 points
