While I support the hire I don't think being the head coach of an NBA team brings the same connections needed for recruiting.

Any coach other than Stevens will have some blemishes, perhaps the best approach would be to wait until March Madness is over and see if a new candidate has emerged, might be that someone we've not even considered ends up being the best choice.

I would prefer someone that understands the IU culture. Alford or Fife would be near the top of my wishlist.

Don't pay an attention to him. Typical internet tough guy that gaslights everyone until someone stands up to them. Probably won't hear a peep from him for a while now that the intelligent posters have made clear we stand with the insiders who have kept us in the know.
