We shoot ourself in the foot with so many simple mistakes that are easily correctable… not picking up a player in transition, not executing fast breaks, unforced turnovers

Definitely an improvement… at least he is trying which is more than what I could’ve said in previous games this season. He just needs to learn to play smart now

Ware, Malik, Gallo, and X? Honestly I’m not even super comfortable with X out on the floor. Closer to 3.5 than 4 for me

If you’re looking for a positive from the game… that was our best 3pt defense of the season. UConn shot 7-22 from three.

It’s starting to look that way… which is unfortunate because he looked pretty good in the exhibition games from what I remember

The difference between CJ guarding Newton and Mgbako guarding Newton was pretty significant

Good news is Malik is playing amazing… bad news is we make absolute boneheaded decisions at times, Mgbako continues to look disinterested on defense, and nobody else can hit the broad side of a barn on offense.

He’s definitely got potential… I’m just skeptical that he’ll never live up to it since he hasn’t quite gotten there yet

I’m not sure how you can claim those guys aren’t IU caliber players and then say we’ll miss Geronimo. If those three aren’t IU caliber then neither is he.

And turnover the guards. Edey can’t beat you if he doesn’t have the ball. That’s where they struggled against IU last year.

Fort Wayne is generally a pretty decent team
