Thanks. I think both party would benefit with Mgbako returning so that’s good to hear. Also good to hear about Newton, looking forward to him being healthy next year and contributing. I know there were rumors about Cupps over on BTB so I wasn’t sure what’s happening there.

Another thing to consider is turnovers, which he needs to improve on. He has a surprisingly high fg% given how many contested shots he takes. That’s not really a complaint for me, but too often he does get himself in a position where he is either putting up a heavily contested shot or turning it over. He was 4th on the team in TO% at 20.3, behind X, Leal, and Cupps.

What games are you guys looking forward to watching most in the first round? I think MSU vs MSU, FAU vs NW, Nebraska vs TX AM, Wisconsin vs JMU, and Gonzaga vs McNeese will be most entertaining. Lotta good 8/9 matchups this year

I didn’t really pay attention to the bubble teams that much because it was hectic this year and I knew IU wasn’t getting in.. but I was disappointed to see them make it. Give me literally any other bubble team over Virginia

UVA is always a brutal watch

I’m not really upset about IU declining a bid to the NIT given how miserable this season was but I agree with him. The players should have the opportunity to play in a post season tournament. I don’t really see what a school like Pitt or Memphis gains from not playing in the NIT? It’s not like you have a brand on the same level of IU that should dissuade you from playing in the NIT
