My 2 cents: I think Rob is making a strong case to be the starter at the point. Unfortunately our two best defenders can't really defend at their position. TJD isn't showing much interest in going to his right hand. I was hoping for more from Bates by this time. Its the Big Ten and road wins will be hard to come by. The difference with this loss and the other two, the other two losses had moments of us playing the best basketball we've played offensively. This not so much. Both teams hadn't played in a while and we were on the road. I would like to see CMW's reaction be change in the line-up if for nothing more than to send a message. If I was to hang a Least Valuable Player award on someone, I thought XJ was atrocious.

You can teach what he don't have. IU would be a bad place for an in-state big to go and look disinterested. We'd eat him up on here.

I think Shifano has timing in his favor. There's a scenario that could put us in a place where we have none of our 3 pgs return.

I would lime to see the light bulb come on for Geronimo defensively on the perimeter, because, personally I think we need to separate Kopp and Stewart. Offensively they are pretty much the sane with Stewart getting the nod over Kopp on defense which isn't an honor. Lander needs a fresh start somewhere he can play through his growing pains. The talent is there, he's not happen and it's in his head now. I think we will continue to get better. I noticed some subtle rotation changes. Let's see some 1st half Duncomb next game.

Well Trace still has little if instinct to go to his right hand. Kopp can't guard me and I'm 50. Criticism for the coaching would be the NBA style of having 5 non starters on the floor at one time. Wisconsin is not a more talented team than us but they are steady. One positive, Durr and Geronimo appear to be capable against lesser athletic bigs. I don't know if it's a positive but we are noticeably better with Johnson on the floor. We will l8ve and die with how he plays. It's a very difficult and gut wrenching learning experience for all of us with this group. This and the Cuse game shown that on the road we CAN be very good and hopefully that translates to us being able to play complete games at home.

I had to work today but just to look at the box score, 10 assists as a team with 15 turnovers is scary.

We missed Johnson obviously in key moments. I really believe that more minutes can bring Lander along. All turnovers aren't created equal. Rave had a couple that were back breakers and the one that Lander let go through his hands into the back court was rough. However, I think this loss will serve us well. We never quit trying to compete and I think we can learn to put teams away now.

We've forced them into a YMCA league offense. That short corner where Race hit that floater is there all night. He can pass back out to behind the arc when they collapse.

One thing Durr is doing is giving Davis a big body to develop his game against. I believe he's still going to have moments of impact for us bit it will have to be defensively and on the boards. I think his offense at his age may be maxed out. We will absolutely have to get a quality portal big though. I think we'll have road games this year that we get torched but still, I'm sticking to a top 5 finish. I think Geronimo is the key. I think he should start and bring Kopp off the bench with Bates and Rob for a short rotation.

I'd like to see Geronimo on Kinsey Bates on Taylor Bring Stewart and Kopp off the bench and see who responds.

Looking at the numbers, if you lock that point guard up, and force Kinsey to become the primary initiator of the offense, the wheels should fall of their offense pretty quickly. With our depth at the point we should be able to smother him.
