  1. I wasn't a fan of bringing Sparks in because he has a lot of limitations, but IU isn't in a position to push people out the door. There's probably 7 or 8 open scholarships to fill once all the dust settles.
  2. We get it, you don't like the hire. You can't judge Cignetti on a recruiting class that was inherited and he had three weeks to adjust.
  3. My bad, you're right. Thanks for clearing me up on that. .
  4. I think he was at Bowling Green, not Toledo. But you're right, high praise from Saban. I imagine he had help from his SID, who at one point was the basketball SID at IU.
  5. It shouldn't have gotten to that point vs a bad team, but missed a blatant hold and PI followed by the terrible grounding call. You're 100% right.
  6. INDOT isn't any better. After 69 turned back into 37 northbound it went down to one lane. We stayed around a while after the game, had pizza and then left and still had 6 miles of stop and go traffic. 2 hr drive to the game turned into nearly 3 hr trip home.
  7. I didn't get a chance to watch much of the game today, but the game Saturday it felt like UK was crowding the plate. One guy made a check swing and was hit. There were a couple other batters hit where they dipped their arm or knee into the path of the ball.
  8. How about the Marshall transfer Andrew Taylor...that would be Ron Howard approved.
  9. Tracy Porter, Kellen Lewis, DeMarlo Belcher were all unrated prospects and did really well too.
  10. I had a friend there sending me updates. WR group looked great. Several good catches. Kam Perry was with the 1s. Sorsby looked good and much more comfortable with the offense than Jackson. Both kickers had a doink off the uprights.
  11. I coached my son's 4th grade team in the ECI league. Most of our games were at Wapahani or Delta. We played one week at New Castle, and after the games I shot around some. The rims were definitely a little tight. Not nearly as forgiving as our home gym.
  12. Glad he didn't bring out his first tonight.
  13. I was looking for that information earlier this week. Where did you find thenin conference SOS?
  14. I had a text from a friend a couple hours ago that said Geronimo is playing today. He got there early and is in the Fieldhouse waiting to get in while Geronimo and Renau were handing out food. He asked Geronimo if he was playing today and JG nodded and gave him a fist bump.
  15. I would take Hummel minus the two ACLs.
  16. There was a commitment to Penn St. inbetween the IU and UNC commitments too.
  17. Why not review that? Definitely was a fumble.
  18. Idaho is going to win some games this year. That WSU loss looks really good right now.
  19. Can we fire Hiller yet? This line play is awful.
  20. What is the feeling about this game from the Illinois fanbase?
  21. I could be wrong, but I was thinking most high school athletic associations haven't approved NIL. If a kid in HS signs a deal they forfeit eligibility. I think that's why that QB from Texas enrolled early at OSU.
  22. The tractor industry is just like everything else, it has evolved and consolidated a lot lately. It's a New Holland, which now isn't any different than a Case IH. They are both owned by Fiat.
  23. I had the privilege of meeting Bill Lynch on Sunday. He was incredibly nice and easy to talk to. We chatted for 10 to 15 minutes and I was very impressed with how engaging he was. I am coaching my son's 3rd grade team in the ECI League, and we were playing at Delta. I was talking with a friend, with a kid on our team who is a fellow IU alumni and coach Lynch popped up. I definitely wished he had succeeded as Coach Hep's replacement because he is a high character guy.
  24. There was an article I saw today that listed UCF as an early favorite but the only two schools mentioned was IU and UCF.
  25. So is there any concern that Cooper will decommit if the meeting with the new OC doesn't go well?
