  1. More missed FTs than 3s attempted tells the story.
  2. Sad how far Dakich has taken himself. Laughable that he thinks he would have won 2 titles at WVU. Years ago, I was in Bloomington for a recruiting event for my employer and went to the Irish Lion and Dan was sitting at the bar with his now wife. Pretty sure he was still married to his ex-wife at the time. No idea what arrangements they may have had but him pretending to be this man of integrity is a joke too.
  3. I went too. Good seats for cheap on Gold Friday. Place was rocking. Reminded me of playoff games against the Knicks/Heat w/ PG led teams.
  4. Haha. Especially since the only thing "better" about their coach (37) vs. Cignetti would be age.
  5. Thanks I had a hard(er) time looking at their history quickly and thought their previous coach went 34-7 but it was actually 34 games coached and he went 7-27 as the column headers weren't showing.
  6. Only knock on him would be that he's taken over winning programs and kept it going (or improved it). (I've been corrected - Thanks to @IUJoe) Impressive record especially considering the move from FCS to FBS.
  7. Agree. Hart may never be considered for HC at UM regardless of how successful he might be at IU if he were to get the job. MSU just hired away OrSU's coach from his alma mater. Bob Knight's alma mater was in the Big Ten. If Hart's IU's choice, then there shouldn't be any more concern with him leaving for a better job than anyone else.
  8. I agree. Losing record at EMU. Has to be tons of people above him on any serious list.
  9. Biggest problem with ARE imo is he's currently employed by a presumed playoff team and won't be done with them for months unless he abandons them in season (which doesn't seem ARE's way). Our entire team could be gone by Feb if we wait on him.
  10. Saw the print version of the quote and was impressed but even more so when seeing his delivery. Reminds me of Haliburton talking.
  11. No idea on your question but love to see we are perceived leader for Queen. He's my #1 want for 2024.
  12. I would certainly think so. I saw Wilkins at a Pacers vs Hawks game awhile back. Found out he does color commentary for them. Wiki says he's been doing so and is VP of basketball since 2004 the same year Woodson started as a head coach there IIRC
  13. Would Smith start for IU? JHS is. The debate shouldn't be JHS for 1 vs BS for 4 it should be JHS for 1 and whoever else for 3 vs BS for 4
  14. Not to mention Woodson has success as a college and pro player and other traits recruits can relate to that Calimari doesn't
  15. I would assume some version of this conversation occurs (at least it should) when a recruit tells a coach they're not coming before their announcement. I know some recruits supposedly don't tell any coaches prior to the announcement but you would hope most kids have a conversation with a staff that recruited them
  16. I can't be the only one who thinks that when Bidunga dunks it is going to sound like badonkadonk, can I?
  17. Nothing shady unless you consider being a underprivileged kid's guardian and giving them a laptop for school. That kid then goes to a school where the guardian was deemed a booster for making a few small donations and receiving some bumper stickers.
  18. I heard on the radio that Pritchard likes where the Pacers are at #6, because the player they're getting is still elite enough to go that high, and presumably will have a chip on his shoulder b/c he felt he should have gone higher and several teams passed on him. Also stressed that they want someone who LOVES basketball, and they asked questions in as many ways as possible to try and determine that. I don't see them paying the price to move up 2 spots. Of course, this time of year everything said should be taken with a grain of salt. It would be cool if they find a way to add a 2nd lottery pick and/or additional 1st rounders, but I'm also ok with giving as much experience as possible to whoever they add from this year, sucking/tanking for a high pick next year, CLE makes barely makes the playoffs like we hoped they would have this year giving us a high non-lottery pick, and rolling into 23-24 with a talented young roster ready to grow together.
  19. Little biased? Forgot to mention the disfunction regarding Brooklyn and the Simmons (no or net negative in return for Harden) drama, Bucks without 2nd best player entire series (Middleton), Heat injuries when making the road to the Finals comparison. Celtics have the best record since 2022 right? And have had their own injuries to deal with but don't think there is any reason to discount the Warriors path when comparing it to theirs. Both took care of business presented to them.
  20. Reminds me of college Gordan Hayward here. Pretty impressive for his age.
  21. I liked that TJD put that out there. It is leadership and putting people on notice. He even critiqued/criticized things about Woodson specifically what they did and didn't practice. He's not here to mess around, now you may be, but he's not. He had to sit around with sub .500 record in this league. He will not let people put him in that position again. Or they will pay for it like you wouldn't believe
  22. Since he's coming back, a fellow lefty, and going to put up historic numbers TJD 2nd is OG (would have been Vic before he left the Pacers debacle). Just like everything about OG on and off the court.
