  1. I do, too. But the young guys have mind-boggling talent. Today, Tiger stayed cool, played pretty good golf, and let the youngsters fall apart. I'd be surprised if it happened again. But it seemed like a different Tiger this week--downright likable--not the jerk I remember from years ago. Wish I woulda put down 85K on him.
  2. So, we aren't paying enough money to get a good coach?
  3. That might be where each and every one of us is headed.
  4. I know what you mean, Mile. I've been a loyal IU fan since the '50s. I won't go into detail. But, if you're a Blue Blood, you're defined by the number of National Championship banners, and that's it. Not total wins, not Final Fours, not National Championship games, not seeding, not conference championships, not rankings. And, besides for the banners hung for tourneys played before the Korean War ended, it looks like we have three won with a hot young coach over an 11 year period that ended some 30+ years ago. I'm not happy with where we are now. And I don't need a boatload of stats to show me where we are. But I'm hopelessly optimistic about IU basketball. Yes, I know what oxymoron means.
  5. Even if they could, could they? The premium has to be astronomical.
  6. I don't see it as greed if someone takes an opportunity to make a life (and family) altering decision which doesn't hurt anything except the feelings of a bunch of sports fans. Who knew he was gonna do it anyway. Plus, I assume he doesn't get Cody Coverage--I'm guessing his family can't afford the premium for an insurance contract to pay off if he gets injured. Not greed, imo.
  7. Doesn't this close the discussion?
  8. We improved 10 points from when we beat them in AH. I don't care what anyone says, a road win in this conference is important. We're getting to looking good at the right point in the season. We've got something going on. That's what I think, anyway.
  9. I'm not all that interested in the discussion, but, Mile, leaving the Mighty Quinn off the list? 106-8 while on the team, a natty and the last undefeated? The brick wall on defense? My all time favorite IU player. Quinn Buckner, the Mighty Quinn.
  10. Something's going on here. Something's going on.
  11. Don't make me all happy. Lordy, I'm happy right right now.
  12. Sir, step out of your car and spell apostrophe.
