  1. This discussion has been one person replying to every message from three people for the past couple pages. Sorry I didn’t read your opinions. Is there a way to ignore this thread when it is considered “hot?”
  2. Crystal Ball picks aren’t a sure fire bet in any way, shape or form. Even with the ability to flip flop last minute, all the “experts” who picked Marquette have an all-time average of 70-75% correct picks. Except for the South Dakota State guy, he’s 3 for 3.
  3. TDH published Tom Allen with Don Fischer and a Whop Philyor interview today. Hopefully that continues for Archie’s show cause they do Facebook live but not easy to find afterwards to watch at our leisure. Thanks again for your hard work Mike.
  4. That’s an understatement. I’m going to come back and haunt him.
  5. What we’ve got here is failure to communicate!
  6. Brevity is bliss, but Optimism isn’t a crime.
  7. I think Homestead, Carroll and Huntington North are all 4A now. Next year the Millennium is 20 years past.
  8. During the regular season, does Blackford play the “smaller” schools in the Fort Wayne area? Homestead, Carroll, Luers, Wayne, Dwenger, New Haven, Columbia City, Harding, Heritage, Bellmont, Norwell Elmhurst or Leo?
  9. Time to put this thread into perspective. I don’t have an agenda or a “dog in the fight” so please view this opinion for what it is worth as a Hoosier fan. My best comparison for Luke Brown is Seth Colclasure from Bellmont (3A) in 2002. He earned a full ride to Valpo for engineering and was extremely grateful for the free education. https://www.nfhs.org/articles/indianas-colclasure-was-record-setting-free-throw-marksman/ Shot 50/40/90% as a 4 year starter and never got past Regionals in 3A. http://www.valpoathletics.com/mbasketball/roster/2004-05/391/seth-colclasure/ Prep: Named an Indiana All-Star as a senior; the eighth Indiana All-Star to play at Valpo ... named First Team All-Indiana as a senior by Associated Press and Hoosier Basketball Magazine, averaging 27 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 3.5 steals ... Bellmont finished that season 22-2, earning #1 ranking in final Associated Press Class 3A poll ... led state in scoring as a junior (29.2 points) ... scored 47 points in single game as a junior ... named Fort Wayne News-Sentinel Player of the Year three times ... holds national record for career and single season free throw percentage ... single-season mark is 97.7%, career free throw percentage record is 93.7% ... helped lead Bellmont H.S. baseball team to State Runner-up finish in 2002.
  10. I took an unofficial visit to IU during Little 5 week....epic!
