  1. This article, pretty much sums up my thoughts on Eddy and Purdue. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/other/zach-edey-had-a-brilliant-career-but-i-m-thrilled-i-never-have-to-watch-him-play-again/ar-BB1lk8Dy?ocid=hpmsn&cvid=d120fd1cf8444ee884c20c897c43af46&ei=12
  2. Uk and Sampson makes too much sense.
  3. Anybody heard anything about how spring practices have been going? Seems a little more quiet than usual.
  4. I'm torn. I don't want to see Purdue win, but I respect Coach Painter and many of their players. I like to see kids from the state of Indiana do well. But, I still can't pull for them. Many of their fans are the main reason for my dislike. I have several friends who are Purdue fans and I'm happy for them. But there are so many of their fans that can be real d-bags (like every program I guess). That's what really makes me not want them to win, is the d-bag fans. It kind of sucks to feel that way, but that's what a rivalry is.
  5. Isn't the basketball section set up just like the football one with just one more are for game threads? Not saying to not change it, but the basketball board is way more active and is set up the same and it seems to be working fine.
  6. That WR room is loaded and with the new QB. Offense should be crazy dynamic as long as the o-line can block.
  7. Big Ten conference looks so weak with all these losses.
  8. Now that it's official, I'm stoked to see what he can do here. Love the hire.
  9. I want to see an official statement from IU that it is a done deal before I get too excited.
  10. Wouldn't surprise me to see him bring his entire staff with him. JMU seems pretty well rounded.
  11. Was just thinking the same thing. He said it was a done deal that it was Frye. 🤣
  12. Yeah, I just checked. Dexter Williams, Sorsby, Tayven Jackson, etc.... Dire beat me to it.
  13. Just saw a tweet that Cignetti is at Jankos Little Zagreb with Dolson, Cuban and Ken Nunn.
  14. I'd be very happy with Cignetti. I love his passion and his track record. I saw him with Pat McAfee a couple weeks ago. He doesn't have much love for the NCAA and how they have treated JMU and he is vocal about it. I think the fanbase would really like him.
  15. I had seen that 3 million number a few times yesterday and than Osterman was talking 3-3.5. The 3 million seemed to come out about the same time as the news that Cuban was selling a large stake of the Mavs. Not sure if they are related or not, but the timing was interesting. I know some of the top QBs are raking in over 1 million alone. So wouldn't surprise me if some of the programs like Bama, OSU, Georgia are over 7 or 8 million.
  16. So, if Indiana is at 3-3.5 million, that is a pretty solid start and I would think help lure a solid coach. The right coach could definitely entice additional money into the pool also. So, this all sounds promising to showing a commitment to turning the ship around. Might be enough to get a candidate like Herman on board.
  17. Just found an article indicating that Texas A&M was a little over 3.3 million in NIL for the football program last year and Michigan has NIL collective goal of at least 5 million.
  18. Does anyone know what NIL money other B10 and SEC schools have at their disposal for the football program? 3million for football doesn't sound like a lot to me.
  19. If we are talking about personal preference. I would go: 1. Herman 2. Candle 3. Hart
  20. Just takes firing your coach or being involved in a bowl game.
  21. I was thinking the same thing. While they were not HC, they left to either become a HC or for a higher profile job after doing well at Indiana.
  22. Mike Hart was Associate Head Coach at Indiana for at least 1 year I believe. What exactly does the Associate Head Coach do, kind of shadow the Head Coach and help with Head Coaching duties in terms of overall program planning or is it more game day and practice specific activities?
