  1. I know it is for money but to me it would have been best to just cancel this season.  Just start next season normal and move on from there. With the draft being October 15th and the season starting December 1st it won't allow those players much time with their new teams.

The appeal is that the vast majority don't pay attention to the NBA until at least Christmas. Everyone is focused on the NFL. The NBA owns Christmas and many in the media/fnas consider that sort of the unofficial start to the season in terms of people watching games and eyeballs on them.

It actually makes a lot of sense, it's just a huge change though.

I actually pay attention to the NBA more at the beginning of the year than I do during the playoffs.  Once college basketball starts I really don't pay attention to the NBA at all and once the Pacers are eliminated from the playoffs I don't watch at all.  To me basketball season is over in April and moving the season back to where it ends in August would not be good for the NBA.

Question for the board, because I don't know.  @IU Scott may know since he had the virus.  How does someone that recovers from the virus drop off the 'Active Case' list?  For example, if I get the virus, become asymptomatic after 2-3 weeks, what do I need to do to drop off the list?  I have to do something, don't I?  If I simply sit and home and not tell anyone, logic would tell me that I would be on the list indefinitely.  5 years from now, would I still be an active case?

My basis for the question is whether that could be a factor in why active cases continue to go up even though new cases are going down.  That's a significant distinction whether we want to admit it or not.

Could not tell you but I have not retested.  I also was getting a phone call one a week from our health department but have not heard from them the last two weeks.

I agree about the cross contamination with gloves for those reasons you mentioned.  I quit wearing them because of that reason. For the mask IMO it's just as much about not spreading it more so than protecting me.

That is exactly what the mask is for.  You might have the virus and don't even know it and you are spreading it to other people who might be more at risk.

Don’t forget the rifleman Chuck Person.

Are we just talking Pacer careers all time team or their whole career? ABA vs NBA?

I remember being at game 4 of that series at Market Square and that was one of the loudest I have heard an arena.  Pacers won that game to force a deciding game 5 of the first round.  We lost game 5 but to me it was taken away from us due to some questionable calls.

Taking another opportunity to honor my HERO. today Ayden received his diploma from his principal,  asst principal and all the 6th grade teachers. They are going to personally deliver them to every student that would have graduated.  For many this might not be a big deal but knowing what Ayden has overcome and to see him now I truly give all the glory to GOD and my amazing wife and all of the sacrifices she has made to make this day a reality

Was the question "who is better between these 2 players" or "which of these 2 players is the best of all time"?

The answer to #1 is certainly MJ...

The answer to #2 is "that's an incomplete list to choose from."

Who were best between the two of them

I'm not a fan of digitizing queues.  I like to tour theme parks in a logical order.  Don't  backtracking,  Digitizing queues seems like a recipe to having to keep backtracking for the more popular attractions.

At Disney World they have fast passes but you are limited to 3 per park.  This gives you a certain time to arrive and they have a separate line for fast pass riders.

Heard today Holiday World will be opening June 16th but the water park will open in July.

I don't think it will matter. Right now I think it's pretty much assumed that we are laid off due to Covid, and that virtually no one is hiring for the same reason.

So now that I have filed is the only thing I do now is go and feel it my weekly voucher until I find if I qualify.  Do you have to show that you looked for a job every week like you use to?

Good thing you got it done. The website has been pretty slow Sunday thru Wednesday, because a lot of people file their weekly vouchers early in the week. Thursday thru Saturday is the best time to get on.

I saw where they recommend to do vouchers on those days.  I will have to back on the website to make sure I know exactly what to do.  Might need to go back and change something if I can because I am afraid on the amount it would take to accept a job.  I might have put the amount to high so I hope that does not influence if I get accepted.

Scott talk about getting served a bad day! Praying for you and all the others in similar situations!
Just have to say since our entire plant goes on furlough for two weeks after tomorrow, the only non customer service/sales department still working is accounting handling the invoices!
You can find work! But you better get after it, I’m told those 600 cv payments run out July 1st!

    Just filed for unemployment

That stinks for you, Scott! What line of work were you in?

It was a little complicated, I had worked for this trucking company for 6 years.  I worked in their maintenance department processing all of their repair invoices.  On March 26tj we found out our department was being taken over my another repair company.  I stayed on getting all of our invoices caught up and the day I finally got caught up was the day I found out that I had the virus.

No, it's not.  I wouldn't be shocked if he comes back.  I'm just questioning if his star really gets brighter than it was this last season.  Great player, but he seems at least very close to maxing his potential at Iowa.

What if he falls out of the top ten in the NPOY race?  What if next year's draft is a lot deeper?  What if he gets hurt?  I see at least as many reasons to leave as I do to stay.

Maybe he knows if he comes back and has a great year that it could set up for life after basketball.   He could become a legend in Iowa and have about any job he wants.  I am sure Iowa had plenty of rich alumni that would be willing to give Garza a great job.

OK, I'll bite...tell us what Garza gains with a 4th year at Iowa.

He may well come back, but I'm struggling to see his motivation to do so.

Maybe he loves playing college basketball and he knows the opportunity to play pro will still be there next year.
