That's basically a 1st rounders deal. I'm sure the money is a little lower, but essentially he got the same terms as a 1st rounder. Two year guarantee with team options for years 3 & 4.
Looks like Warriors have big plans for TJD.

His last 10 games of 21-22 he averaged 16.6 ppg (Trayce scored 19 ppg during those games)... But we also went 5-5 in that stretch...
I'd like to see X facilitate, take the ball to the basket, and shoot the 3 when he's open, and play the suffocating defense he's known for...
This and what others such as BluegrassIU said is why I didn't pick X as the leading scorer. We want X doing what he does best and let the others do what they do. That's the sign of a well put together team. I picked Mgbako as the leading scorer because that's what he does and really well. It's also very possible that we have very balanced scoring.

He's now the #1 recruit in the nation by all 4 services.

I thought Ware "a rim protector" and probably the best at that IU has had for awhile.

I'm saying this because I can see some parallels. When the Cubs called up Schwarber in 2015 he was the catalyst that took that lineup to the next level and from there the rest is history.
Reds might not have to worry about pitching if they score 9 every night. Give them 1-2 more starters and a bullpen guy and see what happens.
Pitching always wins but now the Reds mgt can figure out who to target and what it will cost them.
I think Yogi Berra may have once said, "If you get 9 runs a came, you'll probably win a lot of games."

We've talked mostly about what our offense will be like next year, but not much about our defense. Next season's team looks to be a really good defense with lots of length. Defense was our main problem last season.

It’s a good thing IU kept recruiting Queen like they did.
Good news. Bad news.

IU baseball exceeded expectations this year. Looking forward to next year.

Lazy take in regards to the Hoosiers.
Yes. Although he's an intriguing prospect, I don't think he fits with IU next season. Only question is "Is he better than who we might get to commit in Class of 24?"

So is the championship round a single elimination or would the other team have to beat us twice
IU has to win 1 of last 2 to win.

What a game! Hoosiers win 5-3!

12-6 IU. A much closer game than scores indicates as IU scored 5 in top of 9th. Play UK tomorrow.

Teri Moren is now the 7th highest paid women's basketball coach in the country at 1.3mil per year.
I think we're easily Top 12 this season.
Yes, of the 1st 6 we lose only Grace Berger though it's a big loss as she was a first rounder in WNBA draft. B1G is going to be tough on women's side. Should see overall league attendance increase.

Not exactly the results I was hoping for....
What does this do to their postseason?
IU's RPI has dropped from 27 to 30 during the tournament. Iowa is 31. We were likely a 2 seed coming into the B1G tournament. We probably still are, but it's closer.

A painful game. Up 4-1 and got blown out in last 3 innings.
Have to come up the soft underbelly now.

There are many college baseball polls. The end of the season D1 poll has Md. at #23. No other B1G teams in top 25. IU beat Auburn #19 in 1 game of a 3 game series. We hand single losses to East Carolina #15, UK #25, and 3 losses to #23 Md.

Wenninger by far there best starter w/ a 4.42 ERA in 76 innings. IU knocked out early when we faced them at C/U as he went 3.1 innings and gave up 6 R/ER in a game IU won 16-3. The other 2 were split.

We had the tiebreaker over them anyways.
Correct. Our RPI is #27 which is best in B1G. Iowa is 2d at #32.

Hoosiers hold off a late rally and win 6-5. Maryland won. IU finishes alone in second in believe.
Clear 2d is correct. Iowa was 15-8 as they had a postponed game that won't be made up.

With one game to go:
Md. 16-7
IU 15-8
Iowa 14-8
Neb. 14-9
Iowa will play only 23 games of 24 in B1G.
Best IU can do is tie for 1st should Md. lose and IU win.
If IU loses and Iowa wins, IU will be 3d or tied for 3d should Neb. win.
If IU loses, IU would still be 2d if both Iowa and Neb. lose.
