Pacers fans seem skeptical of drafting because of Goga and Leaf. They were 1st round picks that couldn’t really make it. Not picking OG wouldn’t be a huge deal if the guy they picked over him could stay in the league.

If Tshiebwe was a fit he’d get a 3 year contract. He’s more of a gamble for the Pacers.

I saw something floating around that seemed fake, but this could be different. This definitely raises some questions. It seems like PU doesn’t have a ton of NIL money, but they’re getting $10 million now? If he uses his Covid year not at Purdue, is he transferring? Why would he have to walk on? If they can get him $10 million you’d think they could save a scholarship. Purdue fans haven’t seemed very happy about NIL. Now they not only have lots of money for it but are ok with a player changing his visa for it?

We always do a cookout for derby that runs all day. There isn’t a book, but we do jackpots on every race. Each race has a $0.50 one then derby usually has $1, $5, and occasionally $10 or $20. I don’t follow the race a whole lot other than trying to catch a few between grilling.

I’ve thought about this a few times. You can’t tie it to attending a school, but you can make the deal contingent on physical appearances. If the deal is $x for 8 appearances at an event that happens to be near campus it makes the legal NIL deal tough to fulfill from a different school.

Does Edey come back? He patched a lot of holes this year. Even tonight they got a lot of offensive rebounds from him tapping the ball out.

I don’t mind UNC, but I’d love to see Duke struggle for the next 20-25 years. I really want some of these teams to realize it’s not that easy to just replace a great coach and move on.
