As of today, IU has zero business in the tournament. Not sure when the lightbulb comes on for some of these guys, but you can't play down to the level of your competition and they consistently do that. They almost got burned by Morehead State at home, for Christ's sake. I wish I didn't care at all, but with each crappy performance, I care a little less.

I said no and no. I want to be wrong and I suspect Woody will get them better. I guess I'm just frustrated with how IU fades when the heat gets turned up. They absolutely have the talent for yes and yes, but right now, they have a LOT to prove.

I don't think nearly enough emphasis is put on the fact that IU is starting 2 freshmen and two sophomores. Pretty impressive that such a young group has lost only one game thus far and is 2-0 in the Big Ten.

That's hilarious and while I think he's pretty fundamentally sound, I think it's a tough debate to deny that his height is a much larger factor in his overall effectiveness than it is for almost all other players.

I get that there are more athletic players out there...I'm just thinking about the open scholarship this year. I'd absolutely offer an Indiana shooter before leaving a scholarship unused.

That's become the knock. It's pretty clear that Woody had thrown in the towel by the end of last season and if Woody can't develop Geronimo, I'm not sure why Willard thought he could. I feel for the kid because he tries, but his basketball instincts never improved that I could tell. I'd love to see him realize some level of success, but if I were advising him, I would tell him to take advantage of his scholarship and prepare for life after basketball.

I hope Nutgers continues to suck...this year and the next as well.

Yeah, I've come full circle on Juwan. Very skeptical on the hire (former pros don't seem to have a good track record in general) to being impressed with his early success...to back to thinking that was fools gold and he's pretty poor. The early success was probably just previous coach momentum and a lot of help from Martelli. I don't know why he's mentioned as a pro coach candidate. Not sure what he's shown at the college level to justify that.

Yeah, officials said they cannot review an out of bounds call that was not made live. I think that's 100% crap and yeah...Georgetown got hosed as a result.
