No. Woody lost is the game. You can’t keep playing him the way he was playing. Also, didn’t like the stretches with both Race and TJD off the court and the back ups. There was no offense with Rob, Durr, Geronimo, bates on the court.

Anyone know the actual terms of the contract? I just saw reported as a 6yr deal. I will live and accept the Woodson hire as long as we 1) didn't overpay and 2) didn't leave ourselves with an easy out. For someone who has been begging for this job for years we shouldn't be paying a modest annual salary and have a cheap/no buyout in case this turns into a mistake in 4yrs.

Agree..don't forget I believe Woodson is a co-investor with Steve Ferguson at Cook Group and Scott May in IU housing. Woodie has pushed for the job before. I am sure that influence was "part" of this deal getting done. If NOT Stevens, then going to be "my" IU guy.

I think the done deal stuff came from the “belief” Mrs Stevens wanted to be back in Indiana. That doesn’t appear to be the case. The money rumored to be offered is similar to his new rumored raise.

I don’t. The reason I used the word IF. I know IF it was mean ponying up 10mm I would want an assurance. Not writing that type of check for a 1st time AD to go “try”. But hey maybe they did. To each their own.

My "only" complaint on Dolson is IF I was the booster ponying up 10mm for the buyout on the assurance we were getting Stevens. Now IF that isn't the case, then no one can be upset for taking a shot and getting rejected. IF I was that booster, I would have wanted a signed contract prior to cutting that 10mm check.
