    Announcing a new position

A little late to the party here, but congrats and well deserved. I don't think anyone has been as dedicated to making sure IU fans and visitors have had a friendly place to discuss Hoosier sports. And to paraphrase the man himself, "And all for free!". Here's to another great 15 years of message board shenanigans my friend

    The Sectional Pairings

Scored 7. Final was 54-38. Played fine, did what was needed. Riley can go 10 deep and they used the bench liberally, he sat for a couple lengthy stretches. Smart move since they have the short turnaround for tonight.

    4 year starters

Tolbert was for sure. iirc, Strickland was a spot starter his frosh year, then full time the rest of his career.

    Around the B1G/NCAA

Correct, they're at All State Arena this year, formerly the Rosemont Horizon Center. Living in northern Indiana I was bummed we don't play them there this year, I always make the drive over for the game. It's a nice venue and easy as heck to get to. Welsh-Ryan is a dump and a pain in the butt to get to. They're dumping $100 million to renovate it, but I'm skeptical they can put enough lipstick on that pig.
  6. South Bend, Mile. You've been trying to put me in Fort Wayne for years now lol

    Indiana Mr. Basketball busts

Fuller was the first one to come to mind, but Dan Palombizio( 1981) is a close second in my book. Had a couple good years at Ball State, but his Purdue career was an unmitigated disaster.
  8. Fun fact of the day. That triple OT game was officiated by a rookie B10 ref by the name of Ted Valentine. In interviews he claims he called a foul on Wisconsin sending Alford to the line for a couple crucial FTs. Watching the replay after the game, he said it was the worse call he'd ever made. Felt so bad he called Badger coach Steve Yoder to apologize. Apparently someone needs to remind Teddy that he's paid us back many times over since then.

Reports of my demise were greatly exaggerated.
