  1. Wait so Archie gets credit for making the tournament last year by Archie defenders. But Underwood doesn’t get the same benefit of the doubt. Seems odd. Almost like your biased.
  2. People with Crimson colored glasses keep saying that. Hasn’t panned out yet. We will see
  3. His team is rolling now. He sucked a few years to build something. Where as we are a middle of the pack team now. Hes finished above .500 in conference at least
  4. Oh Lordy this tired excuse. Guess that’s why Illinois is still struggling eh. And if only there was some mechanism to reshape a roster quickly. We did after all have 2 open scholarships last year.
  5. Going by 247 class rankings We had the 3, 3, 2, 6, 2 Purdue 13, 4, 9, 8, 5 Between 2016-2020. But yeah keep pretending we had less talent. From 2016 to 2019 they had 0 five Stars and only 2 four stars We had 1 five star and 8 four star We didn’t lose those games because we were less talented We lost those games because their 3 stars out worked our 4 stars
  6. Not according to rivals or 247. They were better because of coaching. Much less talented.
  7. He had years to fix that problem why didn’t he
  8. Your citing teams that are better. But are they more talented. Those coaches took guys and trained them up. Purdue was not more talented yet whipped us
  9. The problem is we aren’t winning those games. These teams with less talent punch us in the mouth and we cry in the corner instead of punching back. Then Archie talks at the press conference about seeing some changes. Yet the next game guys come out and do the same stupid stuff and it just repeats.
  10. Below .500 is below .500. Archie is the second highest paid coach with a more than large enough recruiting. Those two games had us 11th in the big ten. 11th in the Big Ten should not be acceptable
  11. And it’s being over .500 instead of under it. It means something.
  12. I hear this all the time. How many coaches who fail to go above .500 in their conference in the first 3 seasons go on to have final four teams. Let’s stick to the 21st century as well I am pretty sure the answer is 1 coach If this such a hard thing to ask a coach to do how come Illinois and Ohio State could do it Michigan poised to do it Greg Gard has done it 4 of his first 5 seasons Being above .500 isn’t a hard thing to do. The fact Archie hasn’t done it and doesn’t look poised to do it means something
  13. Don’t care about the separation. Archie is paid to contend for Big Ten Titles. As of now we don’t look poised to do that till year 6 at best
  14. Maybe. But everybody who doesn’t have crimson colored glasses is thinking 6-10 range. These guys are right more often than not
  15. Yeah I’m curious too. How soon are we allowed to hope for an above .500 record in conference before we are asking for Instant gratification. Crean was left with nothing and wasn’t a good coach and he did it in year 4. Then won one of the toughest conferences ever in year 5. Anybody think we are contending for a Big Ten title next year?
  16. None of those stats have anything to do with social distancing. You might as well say 2 + 2 = Green.
  17. Bangladesh hasn’t even had that many tests would be a possibility. Could also be that they actually did stuff to contain the spread versus reopening beaches and bars. A quick google search shows they had a 2 month lockdown which may be a slight reason they flattened their curve better than us
  18. What does he have to explain they social distanced we didn’t? It’s not his fault people are standing for their freedom by infecting others. Fauci makes recommendations not policy. And none of his recommendations were listened to
  19. https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-020-2575-3 Probably because it’s been disproven
  20. Ok. Well then we don’t know if Bangladesh has a higher or lower death rate
  21. Well it’s also not accurate. If the confirmed cases Bangladesh has about a 2.5% mortality in resolved cases. Wow that’s like terrible data analysis and without even an in depth fact check you know that it’s not being honest because it has France in the no HCQ category. That it’s reliant on the case count by confirmed test which several countries have admitted they couldn’t get testing capacity up and running. But yes dude on Twitter not the dozens of PhDs that have looked at the topic
  22. Certainly a factor I would say. Told my wife I should have driven to Illinois to get tested. My father in law got tested since I did and already has his results back. Came back negative which I am relieved about. We had to visit a few weeks ago. If I have it my guess would be from one of the two dozen contractors I have had to argue with wearing a mask at work.
  23. I tend to think the lack of an increase in cases is more a result of not having the testing capability. I’m on day 6 of waiting for results. Seems there’s a bottleneck
  24. Good call. Probably go white instead. So it matches rest of the basement that’s already finished.
  25. If something doubles overnight it most assuredly is a spike? In this case 3 day average about quadrupled. 72, 86, 46 followed by 199, 211, 226 Is a huge spike. You changing the argument. You criticized an article for being wrong. When in fact your own source says you just don’t know what you are talking about.
