That thing is creepy, no joke. The year after I graduated I went down to Bloomington for the bucket game and stayed with my old roommates who were still at IU. The other person staying that weekend was a friend from their hometown who was one of the Purdue Petes. I slept in the same room with that head and it was sooooo creepy. That thing gave me nightmares just sitting on the floor staring at me. Traumatized for life. 😂

Nope, still in the G-wood! my kids are still in elementary but maybe when they get older I'll start getting gossip about the high school athletes. haha

I'm still trying to get used to this powerhouse football school thing. When I went to CG in the early 90s I don't think we'd even won our homecoming game in like 20 years. We were awful at basketball and football and good at everything else. And then to have these great players from CG looking at coming to IU because of how well we are doing? My brain feels like it's going to explode. But in a good way

So IU, UNC and Duke all naming new coaches this off season.... and all of the incoming coaches are alumni from their school. Since we hired Woodson first I guess that makes us trendsetters 😎

Wow! I'm not too surprised but am surprised they announced it this early. Farewell tour I guess. Then how long before the "Brad's out in Boston and he misses coaching so he's going to step down as president there and come back to college" rumors start....

Weren't Settles and Eschmeyer there the same 6 years too? I remember because their freshman year at Iowa and Northwestern was the same as my freshman year at IU. Only difference was I graduated in 1997 and they were still there 2 more years. lol

I remember mile sometimes posting links to songs to express his feelings about certain things. So in honor of mile I leave you with this. I think we got just what we needed, even it wasn’t what we all wanted at first.

This is probably my favorite thing about CMW so far. He doesn't seem to have this crazy large ego where he feels like he needs to know everything or do it all himself. He's got plenty of resources to utilize and bounce ideas off of.... Matta, Brown and I'm sure countless others. (not to mention Hunter and Fife and Asst #3) It's like I tell my kids -- you don't need to have all the answers, you just need to know where to find them. Seems that's his strategy and I like it.

Sounds like he doesn't even need to really hire Larry Brown... sounds like he'd be there like a free consultant to bounce ideas off of whenever he wants. I'll admit to being skeptical/disappointed when Woodson was hired but wow he was really impressed me. I can't wait to see how all of this plays out next season!
