  1. No Iowa game is ever complete without a safety.
  2. Probably the two best teams in the West, and it's 7-6 late in the third. The final East vs. West Big Ten championship looks to be another snooze fest.
  3. I mean, it's going to be November in a few weeks...that's usually Purdue's best month.
  4. Same guy who said "I've got the Boilers winning it all!" back in March.
  5. Dreading the possibility of 3rd and 2 becoming 4th and 1 and the Colts getting stuffed on the next play.
  6. I hate how every holding penalty more or less negates the possibility of a touchdown.
  7. How many times does this damn team have to fail on 4th down before they just take the freaking points? So over this garbage.
  8. And of course it happens right before they play Purdue.
  9. Can't understand why this organization has such a fetish for going for it on fourth down. Fourth and long with a QB who's completed about 33% of his throws today, just take the damn field goal.
  10. Does it seem like every year the Mariners are always just a game or two out of the playoffs?
  11. I was going to ask if Iowa had set any records by erupting for 26 points. Turns out their offense only scored one touchdown. Four field goals and a punt return touchdown accounted for their other points.
  12. Imagine if this had happened in Indy when Manning was here...he taught the fanbase well. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38483311/home-crowd-noise-hinders-vikings-final-offensive-playcall
  13. I saw that score and thought it was a mistake. They had 70 with over 8 minutes left in the game.
  14. Has Minshew completed a pass in the second half? Sure doesn't feel like it.
  15. Typical. I've seen plenty of teams get OSU on the ropes over the years, only to blow it thanks to something incredibly stupid. Add another to the list.
  16. Texans are leading the Jags 17-0 at the half...in Jacksonville.
  17. They really screwed up on their last possession. The botched first down play that lost 5 yards, followed by an incomplete pass on second down, then taking a delay of game on the punt...can't give a team like OSU that many breaks when they need the ball back.
  18. The fourth quarter was a microcosm of what the Colts have become post-Manning and Luck. A team that plays not to lose, expects to screw up and usually does.
  19. Still in the first half and the Colts have already failed to convert two fourth downs. It's like Frank Reich never left...
  20. Yeah, BSU fans aren't very realistic (then again, what fanbase is?). They're already convinced Michael Lewis isn't going to be successful because he's had a rough offseason (lost all five starters to the portal). Never mind he just had the second-most wins by a rookie coach ever at BSU. It's not an easy place to recruit to, with poor facilities, a cheap administration and Muncie being a dump.
  21. He's in his 8th season and has finished above .500 once, in 2020 when he won the MAC along with the program's first bowl game. His first four seasons were mostly awful, and everything since 2020 has been pretty lousy. Very much a bell-curve type of career. I think a lot of BSU fans are just over him at this point.
  22. They'll need it to buy out their coach after this season.
  23. This is a textbook USA basketball loss. Tons of scoring ability but can't stop a nosebleed.
  24. Drought season #2 is upon us. Only a trace of rain in the past 2 weeks and none predicted for the next 10 days.
