  1. Love all the whining and crying about the refs before the games have even started.
  2. I'm still trying to figure out how what should have been an offensive foul on Tatum ends up being a jump ball. That was just hilariously awful officiating.
  3. Miami is getting hosed beyond belief in the final minute.
  4. Where I live, we got 3 inches of rain on Labor Day. We've had a trace of rain since, with nothing predicted for the next 10 days. So over this boring, weak weather pattern we've had all year.
  5. Might be a hot take, but I thought Lebron looked like age might be catching up with him in the fourth quarter. Airballed a 3 and had an ugly turnover in the lane.
  6. Hilarious seeing the built-in excuses already coming out if the Lakers manage to win it all.
  7. There are a lot of bad QB's in the NFL. They'd be even worse if so many rules hadn't been slanted toward offenses.
  8. Every game has tons of injuries anymore. It's a big reason why I rarely watch any game start to finish. Seemingly every 2-3 plays there's someone down on the field and they cut to commercials for the next 5 minutes.
  9. Seven straight season opening losses for the Colts, and 10 of the last 11. Remember when it used to be November before they'd lose, and people kept whining about how they weren't winning by enough? Good times. Probably won't ever see that here again. And what a surprise that the defense is still terrible. No matter how many draft picks they use on that side of the ball, no matter how much the local media tries to tell us how good they'll be, opposing QB's still put up video game numbers with ease. It will never change, and there will never be another QB like Peyton Manning to hide it.
  10. I'm south of Fort Wayne, and last night I couldn't believe how bright the sky to the north was. I'd never seen it like that before.
  11. The Nurse incident reminds me of when Bruce Weber was at Illinois and we always complained about how he was Illinois's 6th man on defense.
  12. Marcus Smart's flop earlier in the series was way worse.
  13. The public library in Muncie just opened for the first time since March. I personally think libraries have gone overboard with all of this.
  14. Obviously Donovan isn't coming here (unless he's still available in a couple years, maybe), but it would be cool if the Pacers got him. However, I think the Pacers are going to take a page out of the IU playbook and hire a minority to replace a fired minority. Hope I'm wrong.
  15. Can't verify this anywhere, but I heard the McDonald's in Brookville was letting people eat in the restaurant this weekend. Given the demographics of that area, it doesn't surprise me at all.
  16. I'm geeking out because we've been getting thunderstorms all day. The storms aren't anything spectacular, but we've had so little rain this summer I've almost forgotten what thunder sounded like. It's refreshing.
  17. Most people where I live going into gas stations aren't masked. Of course, most people where I live aren't wearing masks anywhere. In larger cities I've visited recently, a lot of people have been masked. In smaller towns like the one I live in, many people just aren't doing it.
  18. I'm hoping the remnants finally bring some rain to my area. It's been 16 days since it rained here.
  19. Deleted: please help us out. That was blatantly political -blue
  20. They were so tired from counting that high they needed to rest a bit today? Three-digit numbers are big to Kentuckians.
  21. I meant that even though I saw more people than I could ever remember wearing masks at this Wal-Mart, the vast majority still didn't have them.
  22. Went to Wal-Mart today for a good laugh, since the mask mandate takes effect tomorrow. You would have thought the blizzard of the century was coming. Scads and scads of people without masks pushing overflowing carts, obviously hoping they won't have to go grocery shopping again in the foreseeable future. The saddest part was, I still saw more masks than I can ever remember seeing there.
  23. Is there anything happening in the world that our fanbase collectively could look at and not think "this could negatively affect recruiting?" Good lord.
  24. These numbers are just mind-boggling. I remember back in April thinking 39K was outrageously high. Texas and Florida are combining for about 20,000 per day the last few days. About a month ago, we had days with fewer than 20,000 for the whole country.
