  1. Love it! This would seem to help with recruiting the state of Indiana, right?
  2. And they beat LSU, one of the top SEC schools. They should be in without a doubt. SEC was just down this year; it happens. Michigan, Washington, FSU, Texas. Pretty simple.
  3. The chance for Bama to win convicingly is over. They may win, but this has been an ugly game. Plus Bowers and McConkey are noticeably limping. People can see this isn't 2021 Georgia. From an eye test standpoint, Bama had to have an incredibly lucky last second hail Mary to beat a terrible Auburn team last week. Who just got smashed by New Mexico State. At home. Just no way to justify jumping an undefeated FSU or Texas that handled Bama at home. Just my thoughts.
  4. If Georgia loses, Texas should be in over Bama. If Georgia AND FSU lose, things get really interesting.
  5. He seemed like he just wanted to get to work and get that press conference over. I love it. No nonsense or overhyping. His response on not looking at recruiting stars was refreshing. We love it as fans, but he knows exactly what he's looking for in a player. Can't wait to see what he can accomplish rather quickly.
  6. I'm starting to come around on Hart. He's a guy that knows our program. Pros and cons. He also knows recruiting at the IU and Michigan levels. He would have a ton of relationships already established. If he has a plan and the coaches to implement it, I'll take a guy with a vision and the passion to make it happen.
  7. Gotta have optimism to be an IU football fan. I guessed 5-7, and I'll be pumped for the vision our new coach projects.
  8. He reminds of those PSU QB’s like Trace McSorley that have moxy and just make plays. He could be the guy that other teams hate and feel like he's been playing for 6 years.
  9. I feel like that's a bad fit for both sides. Part of the reason Stoops recruits well to UK is his family connections to Ohio. A&M will chew him up and spit him out. He'd be a Chevy truck being asked to drive in a Formula One race. Ask Rich Rodriguez if he wish he'd stayed at West Virginia.
  10. What a program and system. They've been a powerhouse my entire life. I grew up playing PAL football on their field, and attended the title game where the Vaughan Dunbar lead team lost in the last seconds to Carmel. Congrats Panthers!
  11. That's funny. Crazy world we live in now. I guess with the CV bonus year, some of these kids might view their 4 year commitment fulfilled. Can't blame them for getting paid. Hopefully in his grad season of making bank, Will takes some PR and communication courses!😅
  12. For sure. There is a scenario, but this of all years would be an extremely tough sell. The winner of the OSU/Michigan would need to lose in the B1G title game, Florida State needs to lose, Washington needs to lose, Oregon might need to lose as well, and then Texas. Alabama would have to win convincingly enough to impress the committee, but not so much that a 1 loss Georgia with a terrible SOS gets left out over other 1 loss teams. My head hurts just thinking of all that!
  13. ESPN is powerful, but barring some crazy scenario, that won't likely happen. Georgia's strength of schedule is atrocious. Bama lost at home to Texas. The SEC is down in general this season compared to their recent past. If you have an undefeated OSU/Michigan, Washington, FSU, and 1 loss Texas, do you really believe the SEC would get 2 teams in?
  14. Texas beat Bama. At Alabama. I'm already hearing it from Bama fans they should be in the playoff, and they need to just stop. Win, don't whine. The funnier thing will be if Bama beats Georgia and the SEC doesn't get a team in the playoff.
  15. Good win making adjustments on defense. Still concerned we can't hit an open shot, but quite a few guys played with energy and drove hard to the basket. The second unit rebounds much better than our starters.
  16. Gunn looks athletic and his shot looks solid. Hope he gets a couple 3s to fall soon. Just stop shooting the 18 footers; most inefficient shot in basketball.
  17. Defense has looked solid, minus the personal foul penalty on their touchdow drive. Sorsby is short arming everything and throwing high. Receivers have been open.
  18. Might you be implying CMW could be forced to play Mgbako at the 4? Love to see it!
  19. Agree . 3 aggressive perimeter defenders that can all shoot and drive. Ware protecting the rim. Mgbako just has to stay with the opponents 4 man and make shots. He's inexperienced, but should become a tough match-up.
  20. Such a shame. I feel like his talent has been mostly wasted at IU. He'll have some amazing catches, then be forgotten. A competent OC would've made sure he had numerous targets every game. He's one of the few guys we have that you can throw it up in his area, and let him go get it. I wish him a full and speedy recovery.
  21. Good for the coaches and players. Kudos to staying locked in and keeping the momentum from last week. Would've been easy to quit. Now keep the momentum going and make a bowl!
  22. Love the optimism; it's all we have as Hoosier fans. 4 winnable games. Let's see who still wants it.
  23. Coach Saban will have his Hoosiers ready in his pursuit to solidify his place as the GOAT by winning a natty at IU. First year, first B1G title.
  24. If Ware is the post, there's a deep threat at all 5 positions, and 3-4 can get their own shot. Plus the free throw shooting that was mentioned with that lineup.
  25. God is good. Prayers for a speedy and full recovery. 🙏
