I mean, I’d think we should give the vets a chance, they’re a known quantity in D1 play. However, I do want to see which cream rises to the top and I have high hopes for Lander and Leal. The more of these guys we get more out of, the more fun this is going to be to watch.

How is this thread not longer? -
This Woodson hire has been an INCREDIBLE smoke screen.
-
Ghost coach and advise Woodson on the finer points of recruiting and coaching Big Ten.
-
Woodson took the Hawks from 13 wins in his first season to 53 in his last.
-
The very same for me. I can find loads of reasons to be excited about Woodson + Matta.

I was gonna say the same thing, when you're talking Lebron-type money, *state* income tax doesn't have to be a significant concern. -

Perhaps...but, money being equal, Texas and Indiana are both completely different flavors, in so many ways. I'm a Cincinnati Bengals fan and for years there has always been a contingency of our fans who decry the small market quality and draw of a place like Cincy. "Why would a free agent choose Cincinnati over New York, Los Angeles, or Miami?" I always pushed back saying I've lived in New York City, greater Miami, and Dayton...now Orlando. My favorite place will always be southwest Ohio. And, I love New York and have come to really enjoy the part of Orlando we're in. But, there's not one right, desirable place that's better than others for all people. Especially if it's Stevens. 😜 -

I mean, it could only be a couple people: his wife or his proctologist, and I think we all know who the expert is in that equation... -

Can I assume Stevens is 1 and Beard is 2? Or, Beard is 1 and Oats is 2? -

I mean, who really knows anything at this point? To the point about Saban (and countless others who have done this delicate, odd dance), you'll keep saying "no" until it's time to say "yes." -
