  1. Someone really built it. https://www.storytellershideawayfarm.com/one-piece-at-a-time-car I know we have a music thread but screw it just once
  2. I took my model car building seriously. Had all the paints and airbrush kits and tools. I even once bought a bunch of kits and tried to replicate to car from the Johnny Cash song "One Piece at a time" actually turned out well. Wish I still had it.
  3. Growing up I was very OCD. Used to build model cars. Thinking about picking that back up. If I have something I can focus on, it calms me down. Was much easier as a single dude. When I was single I had a solid routine that was pretty rigid. Basically lived like I was in Marine Corp boot camp. I would even make my bed in the morning and bounce a quarter off of it.
  4. The human toll in so many ways death, mental, physical hasn't been ignored by me. The whole world is a clown show on all levels. Just getting hard to deal with it all. Honestly, I'm considering using my insurance and possibly finding a professional to talk to. All of it is wearing me out.
  5. Who knows what will transpire here, but I will never be forced out of my house and separated from my family. If that's how it ends for me then so be it, but I'll go down fighting.
  6. I have Mahomes and Cousins for my QB's. I don't know what to do. Mahomes hasn't done much the last few games and Cousins has been doing well for point. I guess not a bad dilemma to have. Thinking of sticking with Cousins.
  7. Seems alot of people are dismissive of those that have concerns because of religious beliefs. I remember reading the last chapter of a very old book that has some similarities to what is going on. Maybe the world needs the rapture. Getting harder to deal with this clown show.
  8. @IUFLA I remember awhile back someone in the house or senate closed out a prayer saying "Amen and Awomen" Just wow
  9. The fact anyone evens questions beating Nebraska in basketball makes me sad. It's going to be a W.
  10. Can you develop an argument otherwise?
  11. YES. Research World Economic Forum. The Great Reset. New World Order. It's been over 2 damn years with no end in site. It is and has always been about control.
  12. After all this time, if people can't figure out this is all about government using a manufactured crisis to control the population and bring about the New World Order, I don't know what to tell you. I don't fear death and will rest easy in heaven. But will rain hell on any and all comers.
  13. I'm going to back up @dgambillright now. Growing up I got a gun every Christmas and birthday, had access to whatever I wanted whenever I wanted. That said, I would not do that if I had kids today. Anyway, Would keep them in my truck and go hunting after school, no problem. Never in my life did I ever consider harming anyone. I can't fathom that. But, whether you believe in God, Jesus, Bhudda, or whatever, there is a moral breakdown in our society that I believe is irreconcilable. Hatred permeates our world. How do we beat it?
  14. I don't think hate crime laws should even exist. A violent crime is a crime regardless of the motivation. Hate crime laws are too ambiguous and allow for human emotion to enter the equation.
  15. I know people say otherwise but I can't see how it's not a factor. Not everyone but it only takes a few.
  16. At my wife's parents tonight. If her dad doesn't stay up til midnight again may get to watch it live. If not then I guess it's BBC again.
  17. I believe the internet and social media play a large role in the mental health issues. The brain isn't fully developed until about 25 and I just don't think the human mind is built for the information overload we deal with today. JMO
  18. In this day, any gun owner with kids should keep them locked in a safe. If the parent wants to carry then maintain possession. With all the options for safe storage no reason to not lock them up.
  19. Darwin award winner right there
  20. I spent a summer working all over Louisiana. BK going from a frozen tundra to swamp ass.
  21. I figured it would happen eventually just not at this age.
  22. I have 3 degenerative discs and between my L5-S1 I don't have one anymore. And stage 2 spondylitis
  23. One of my summer college jobs took me up 69 to Detroit in May. Everything down here was in full bloom. North of Indy nothing blooming. That that difference was pretty wild. Like 2 different climates in the same state.
