My knees and back love the warm weather. At 48 should not have to stretch and spend 10 minutes before you get out of bed just to feel a little better
Ha, I'm 36 and somedays have to develop a game plan to get our of bed. My L1-L5 are wrecked.

Moderna stock took a hit when their CEO said their vaccine is not effective against Omnicron.
I think is was the Pfizer CEO said annual "revaccinations" will be needed. Those are then Covid shots, not vaccinations!
Natural immunity is still the best bet.
So far, no big surge of cases / deaths in S Africa where Omnicron was first found.
Didn't the CDC change the definition of vaccine?

How effective is the vaccine when you have to continously get booster after booster. I'm not going to be a pin cushion. I hate needles with a passion.
I've already been stabbed enough in my life having gone through a reconstructive jaw surgery and periodontal work.

Had to put my dog down this afternoon. We had adopted him 3-4 years ago so don't know his exact age but believe he's about 12. He had been suffering for awhile and even the pain medication wasn't helping. It's always a tough call deciding if you are prolonging a life for your benefit or taking care of your pet by ending his suffering.
Forgive my poor choice of emoji it was an accident, I meant sad emoji. Sorry for your loss

Yes it is. Personally, I think we should have done it 2 weeks ago. My wife would have liked to keep him around for a while longer. Eventually, she realized it was time. Not sure how convinced she was but hopefully at least 50% so I don't have to hear about this being my decision for years.
We have 2 dogs that are 13-14 years old. I expect to come home one day and have to bury one.
I was my family undertaker. I've buried so many pets. It sucks but I felt I could do it respectfully because the the rest of my family aren't capable.

This song actually has a story. My dad walked in on my mom with another dude. I was about 5 at the time. Years later in high school, I'm pretty good friends with a classmate. Turns out it was his dad and my mom. Don't know why because my friends mom was smoking hot.

So...I've been listening to perhaps my favorite Def Leppard album lately "High n Dry", back when Steve Clark and Pete Willis were on guitars. I believe this might have been the first song of theirs I heard on the radio back when I was a youngin.
When it comes to Hair/Glam metal my dad was all over it. So I love the bands between slash metal and the grunge movement. Although some grunge was pretty good. Like Alice in chains and sound garden. That's about it.
Anyway

I'm waiting this year out. I'm small time compared to what some of these companies could do....but I think I mentioned on here before we are looking into getting a couple of the guys for a golf tourney next summer. Here's the rub though. Do we book say a guy like Tamar Bates now? Given his current fees....or if he takes off this year and his fees go up because of it? Tough balance for all. Including the consumer haha.
I'd be curious though which 3 are having problems. Only about 7-8 teams would have big NIL issues and we are one of them. Based on play at Purdue they don't seem to be having any chemistry issues. Teams like Ohio St, Michigan, Illinois,etc....maybe they are the one's?
What about Nathan Childress. He's a local.😁

Why I'm the world would anyone give Mel Tucker a 10 year 95 million contact. He is is 16-14 overall and 11-7 at MSU. People complaining about Allen's contact would really hate this one.
I think there is an underlying factor in this deal that you really can't discuss.

Yessir, for the past 12 years or so straight, and intermittently before that...
Last year my smoker conked out on Thanksgiving eve and I was supposed to bring it to my youngest daughters house over in San Marcos...so I put it in a roaster, ran an extension cord through the back window of our truck as it has an outlet in the bed, and had it like 2/3rds done by the time we got there (3 1/2 hour drive)...
Hence, the new Dyna-Glo 😁...my wife wasn't gonna go another Thanksgiving with a smoked turkey...
My wife liked the smoked turkey but it wasn't traditional.
I refuse to do a turkey in the oven. I've deep fried it, smoked it, everything under the sun.
Electric roaster is my bag. Self basting, and I use the drippings and stock to make a bomb ass gravy.
So, how do you do gravy? Without gravy the meal is a bust.

I'm thankful for the job I have now. Started 15Feb21. Without this job I wouldn't have the time I needed this year to be there for family.
I'm very fortunate, I work 136 days a year. I have a weekend day shift job so I sacrifice my weekends but its worth it.
My wife is self employed massage therapist so she can match my schedule. Took over a decade to get to this but life is good.

Do you always smoke a Thanksgiving turkey?
I've done it once when I was coming off a 12 hr night shift. Got home, started the smoker, got the bird on, took little naps, had a delicious Thanksgiving meal and went to work at 6pm for another night shift.
I could not pull that off again and I'm only 36.

Happy Thanksgiving!
We're punting turkey dinner to next week because a client of my wife's is making us dinner. They have no kids and are the kind of people that won't take no for an answer.
I'm thankful for them and anyone who has helped in life. We don't make through alone.
I just hope one day to be in a position to help others more than the small ways I can.

We'll get our chances...there are a few really good teams in our league...
Agreed, but after watching IU and others, so far I can see IU being top 5 but sadly PU will probably be B1G champions.

Michigan is overrated...
I want our Hoosiers to win and prove themselves but it's looking like B1G is weak this year. It's early though. Yeah MU is overrated, but I want IU to kick the $@&% out of good teams. And I believe they will

I dislike Jim Boheihm so much, (who cares how his name is spelled).
Takes a good looking, good hearted woman to produce offspring with that ugly cheating bastard.
