I don't know. I don't make those decisions. I will say that although he played well we really don't know how Conwell would do playing in a major conference for an entire season. I believe he would translate just fine but nobody has seen it yet.

I don’t think Ole Miss is a serious contender. The set the market and that was probably higher than some of those other schools and IU really wants him so they just went ahead and jumped everyone and got the first visit.

I truly believe if his kids were older when IU offered him the last time he would be the IU head coach right now. I think he’s getting the itch to coach again, he wants to win an NCAA championship, and he probably thinks his role of running an NBA franchise better sets him up for the NIL landscape. That said he likely wants to win a championship with Boston first. Regardless of what he said before Stevens has always wanted the Indiana job.

I think he’s the backup option to Hickman

This isn’t the first time things like this have been said the last few weeks fwiw. Nothing will happen this year but the talk of Stevens returning to college in the near future has picked up recently.

Well IU is still going to try but I find it unlikely that he would come to IU. I could be wrong though.
