To me Kopp is a stretch 4. I think he could do well in that role. He’s not athletic enough to be a wing.

The DD show today is going to be interesting. Jake Query this morning made it sound like both sides were at fault.

Assistant at Bradley. He’s from Bloomington and his dad runs Indiana Elite. He’s gotten good players to Bradley (for their level), and he’s got good connections in the midwest.

It sounds like Drew Adams is the favorite and might get wrapped up quick. Brian Walsh could be in the mix if that doesn’t work out.

I’ll say this. The oddities of Fife's personality are why I’ve always felt that Michael Lewis would have a better shot at being the next HC than Fife (if it ends up an IU guy) and that was before all of this.

Who knows. Not much has been said about Matta other than he really doesn’t know what his job is lol. He’s getting paid well though to do a lot of nothing but he got a contract for several years.

I was frustrated by the situation earlier and had heard a few different things. That said Woodson made the right call. I do think he could’ve done things differently with the dismissal.

I’m starting to step off the cliff and understand the move. I still have concerns but we’ll see how things play out. I just feel like it’s never ending stupidity with this program.

That’s a fact but it’s starting to really sound that way. We’ll see what happens moving forward.

One thing I know about Woodson is that soon after taking the job he was supposed to speak at a coaches clinic in the state. The morning of Fife showed up and said Woodson sent him because he couldn't make it. I guess it really rubbed some people the wrong way. Overall I’m still not sure how to take Woody as a college head coach. So this second year will be a massive test.

Mike Woodson wants yes men. That’s not Fife. The dude lasted 10 years with a hall of famer at MSU but can only last 1 with Woodson.

It was known that he and Izzo butted heads at times. That said Izzo didn’t want yes men and knows that it’s okay for assistants to have different opinions. Izzo also would listen to those same assistants so things didn’t always fall on deaf ears.

If heard he’s enjoying retirement and has several other things going on. That’s why he was a consultant and Woody already listens to him over his assistants anyway
