So im texting with a former player (under Crean) who I used to hang around with when I was at IU. "IU fans can definitely be a pain in the ass, but they are right this time. Woodsons ego is getting in the way. There has to be a change. I'll always love Tom, he had the passion IU needs right now. Well, last time I was posting here people lost their minds because I was wrong on Boogie (sorry. but in reality, woodson screwed up w/ boogie. he was ours.............) As far as I know Woodson will prob step down after the BTT. It'll be "mutual". I had doubts a few weeks ago that we were "in talks" with Pearl, but it seems like there really is something going on. Pearl would turn this program around fast. Theres just a few "in charge" that have a problem w/ Pearls past. Woody is a dead man walking.

We will lose by 15+ or win by 1.

If random people on a message board know this Pearl stuff, then of course Woodson knows. So he already knows his fate? I don’t buy it. I don’t care who “trilly” is, there’s no way that Dolson reached out. Unless woody is okay with it and said he’s stepping down. Which I highly doubt.

Everyone knows Pearl would love to coach IU. That’s been well noted. The part that I’m not buying is that Dolson actually reached out. How would that leak mid season? Doesn’t make sense.
