True. However our freezers are flying off the floor as people stock up. Same with computers as people are doing classes online. We just sold a refrigerator to a customer who was desperate, food gonna go bad. So true, in my line of work, the fluff purchases have slowed (less than I would have expected tho), but other items have spiked. I oversee several states, Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri and Tennessee. It is interesting how employees and customer in each state are responding so differently, as all 4 are similar demographics.
-
They would be considered essential businesses, at this point. The company I work for sells refrigerators, washer and dryers. In everything so far, those items are listed under "essential". So every state we do business in, we have been part of the exempt businesses. With that said, we are going to reduced hours of operation next week.

March Madness comes to HSN

True, and @milehiiu will vote for whichever team had the fewest early entries into the NBA. -
312 is fantastic, agree 100%. Stll slightly favor schafly tho. Jameson is my go to for Irish Whiskey. I have just not found one better (well, not under $100 anyways). However, Proper 12 is a solid alternative if Jameson is not an option.
-
Tito's with a splash of orange juice is solid for me. I also enjoy a good Irish Whiskey. Beer? I love to experiment with random craft beers. My staple is still most anything by 3Floyd's. Although I do enjoy gumballhead, as far as wheat brews go, Schafly's hef is really hard to beat.

Thank you for this!

I tried to remove the political posts. Not taking sides. I want to be fair. But let's move past that, please.

As expected, HSN members have discussed a difficult topic with passion and respect. Thank you all. Let's keep it that way. Even bringing politics to the fringe of this conversation will be toxic, and not accepted. We all realize the connection, we all have opinions on it. As difficult as it may be, that part of the conversation can not be part of our discussion.

TV show binging - making and asking for recommendations

I just went old school and started Lillyhammer on Netflix. Ate up good part of the weekend. Easy, entertaining watch. Did season 1 of designated survivor last month. Underappreciated show, really enjoying that as well. -

Can you honestly read this board and say nobody is laying any of the blame at coach's feet? -

Sounds like a couple guys named Victor and OG. Not to put those expectations. But they are the bar setters. -
Ja.

By the way, that trip down memory lane made me want to share this amazing story. The best friend I mentioned? His son was born with a heart defect. Nearly died several times and had many operations as an infant. During that time, I came into tickets to the IU and Duke game at Rupp. I was able to convince my friend to step away from the hospital and join me. And wow, we got the Moye/Boozer classic with court side seats. Anyways, recently his son finally had a heart transplant. He is a walking miracle. In this video, my friend is the guy in the bright orange shirt! https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.wlky.com/amp/article/heart-transplant-allows-kentucky-teen-to-live-normal-life/27471481

Moved to Kentucky from Chicago when I was 12. About an hour south of Evansville. Struggled adjusting and making friends. My first real friend (still my best friend today 35 years later) and his family were from Evansville and die hard IU fans. Through them, I came to love the game. We would always watch IU on channel 44 out of Evansville. Laskowski on the call, I beleive. It just took off from there. I became obsessed with basketball, and grew passionate about the team that initiated that obsession. Basically good old IU fans taught me early, before the UK fans could brainwash me. Lol Still a Chicago guy for my pro teams. Cubs, bears, bulls, hawks.

Ja Morant will be a better NBA player than Zion. I am biased since he played at my Alma Mater, but the kid is legit.

I love that is shows some nice, super athletic dunks/putbacks etc. But I also love it shows several midrange shots and plenty of finishing through contact. Show he is not likely to be Hanner Perea 2.0. -
