  1. Its a free year for all college basketball players. Brunk and Al can come back next year if they want/are allowed =. http://www.ncaa.org/about/resources/media-center/news/di-council-extends-eligibility-winter-sport-student-athletes
  2. Archie has recruited Miller, Hopkins and Kaufman (all similar but different) extremely hard this recruiting class. Its obvious that he wants multiple versatile players this class. Hopkins is seen more as a lock to UK than Kaufman to IU or Purdue. Seems he is just keeping his option opens. Edit: I will also say coaches "reach out" to players all the time. Some new age recruiting guys seem to make way to big of a deal for simply "reaching out"
  3. Maybe he wanted to eat something different than the rest of his family?
  4. The whole "if Kaufman was going to commit to Indiana, it would have happened already" is such a cop out answer. The exact same thing was said about TJD and we know how that turned out. The kid wants to take visits before deciding. Had that happened maybe it would have already been done. It is August before he can sign, not April after he already could have.
  5. I am intrigued by Jonas Hayes (Xavier) and Jamall Walker (Just took the Grand Canyon job)
  6. Derek Rose and Eric Gordon coming to Hoosier Hysteria got me to join the recruiting discussion game
  7. I have been a member of Peegs for a long time...2007ish. Followed him over to 247 when that move happened. At one time they were one of the most active sites on 247 I believe. Plenty of activity just not on the free boards over there. I have been a lurker here for a long time and quarantine has brought me out of the shell some here. @Stlboiler23and I chat on another board, so its great to be able to give him some crap here as well
  8. Dan has burned just about every bridge at IU. IU invited all players back, besides Dan Dakich for Knight's return. I no longer live in the Indy area, but even when I did I quit listening to his show a couple years before I moved. He is nothing but a troll and shock jock anymore.
  9. Christie was never going to Purdue. You know that
  10. While he has signed his paperwork and been announced, I believe he will not be done with all of the needed classwork until sometime in July
  11. I haven’t heard a thing about Dolson asking former players to be involved so I can’t comment. I have been an avid listener since day one and they of course did not have the connections at the time. I believe they had a Moye connection both being in LA and it has grown from there. They both listen and take criticism and have done a fantastic job adjusting their strategies. They also absolutely played a part in making it okay for Coach Knight to feel welcomed back in Bloomington. If Coach Knight doesn’t go to the bluebird last November I am not sure we see him at Assembly Ha
  12. Thanks Mile! Been a lurker through the years couldn’t remember if I had an account or not.
  13. Scott Dolson and Indiana University do not own former Indiana University players. Also doesn’t get more pro than Eric. These guys also have done a fantastic job of bringing the former players back together. https://www.google.com/search?q=Eric+Pankowski&rlz=1CDGOYI_enUS674US674&oq=eric&aqs=chrome.2.69i57j69i59l2j69i60l2j69i61.2253j0j7&hl=en-US&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8
