https://medium.com/run-it-back-with-zach/new-and-improved-ranking-84-college-football-programs-by-brand-value-6e2c65f64515 Interesting article here. We are ranked 47th, ahead of 5 other B1G programs. -

USC and UCLA to the Big Ten ?

Yeah, I get that. The gist of the situation is, does that translate into watching college sports? If anything, LA is a pro sports town, and even then, they have plenty of other things to do if their team is mediocre. -

No I didn’t say that. I said at one game, they had that attendance. Please don’t misquote me -

Less than half full Rose Bowl and poor Pauley attendance doesn’t scream “hot commodity “ to me. But what do I know? -

Attendance is down 20,000 per game in the Chip Kelly era v the previous coach. The USC game skews the numbers up to look better than they really are. They are not even half filling their stadium on a regular basis -

Didn’t we just make fun of UCLA for their paltry attendance at Pauley Pavilion? They also were ridiculed nationally because one of their home football games had less than 10,000 fans in attendance. I get that LA is a huge market, but they aren’t a college market. Would much rather have started this expansion with schools in true college towns -

Yeah, I guess good for the B1G... And yes, I am one of the ones who won't stay up to watch a game that starts at 10:30 or 11:00 EST on a work night. Also, imo, takes a little bit away from the "student" part of athletes. Long road trips, late night games, less class time. I get it...school is now pretty much virtual, but it sure doesn't pass the eye test of being in the best interest of the student part of the equation. -
Granted, some of these guys might have played prior to star rankings being a thing.... Karl Malone Steve Nash Scottie Pippen George Gervin Dennis Rodman Steph Curry Robert Parish

I don't know, Seek. The kid who played for his dad at Milwaukee ended up being a 1st round pick playing against similar or lesser competition.

Poor ol' George.

Just as a matter of principle you should be embarrassed

Would you like me to start pointing out your grammar/spelling errors like you seem to like doing to me ?

I need to get my glasses checked...

Not one other B1G team. Might bode well for us if we can use this advantage, however as we discussed all last season and the offseason, we need to become more perimeter oriented. Not sure this is as much of a chest puffer as the ranking suggests.

Watched the most recent season of Stranger Things and can't get this outta my head 🤪

So, it's not just football that the SEC throws money around for coaches. My Twins' pitching coach just left to join LSU with his salary increasing from $350,000 to $750,000.

Not in concept but, fireworks…. after 11:00, 2 weeks before July 4th, ongoing, every, frickin’, night!
