  1. Curious why you think that anyone here cares about PUke. But , to answer your question, I think the UCONN guy as well as Bercot and Filipowski would all give Edey problems
  2. I know that this is an open forum and that everyone is supposed to be welcome but trying to understand why any conversation with PUke fans is justified here. Trying to understand why their lame explanations/excuses/justifications are even a topic of conversation here. Travesty is too mild of a description for the game that is being discussed here
  3. Regardless of this game, PUke will not win a championship this season. A team with guards that can shoot and bigs that can play Edey to a draw or close to it will beat them. In the tournament there will not be the free throw disparity
  4. All that bouncing around by the PUke students… tons of pocket protectors just hit the floor
  5. The PUke guys who post here can whine all they want about Edey getting fouled almost every play but I have noticed that there will be a guy with good defensive positioning and he’ll just lower his shoulder and move them back 2-3 feet, thus getting open. I have seen it at least 3 times tonight
  6. I would say that over the course of the game, Ware was the MVP. However, Leal’s two 3 pointers early in the game set the tone for the entire game. I firmly believe that good shooting and the confidence it takes to make shots, is contagious. His ability to make those shots gave us a cushion that allowed guys to relax and make their own shots
  7. Both are listed as “Game time decisions.” Frankly, I wouldn’t expect to see anything more definitive. This isn’t professional sports where teams have to divulge injuries. No sense giving Penn State any more information than needed
  8. Just turned on the Smellermakers game and first possession I saw, I had a 4 count on Edey in the lane. Going to pay attention and see how often he is camped in the rest of the half
  9. Bleacher Report article from 2012 ranked the top 25 long range shooters of all time in college. Dated, for sure but I don’t know if there has been anyone in the last 11 years who would crack the list. 5. West 4. JJ Reddick 3. Mount 2. Larry Legend 1. Pistol Pete Alford was #7
  10. Another Peacock game that I hope has horrible ratings.
  11. Per Osterman, MR on crutches
  12. The only thing better would have been Leal blowing a kiss at Sandfort
  13. Is iarw some kind of Kentucky drawl?
  14. So, the S stands for Shep😡
  15. Have you ever said a positive word about IU?
  16. Yep, TG. had a rough last couple of minutes. However, he was in the middle of everything. I’ll take the mistakes as long as he’s giving the effort
  17. Not gonna give up on any of these guys. Players mature and improve at different rates. CMW trusted Gunn enough to put him in there in the first half and he got a couple of strong rebounds. I would love to see him mature and improve in the candy stripes rather than elsewhere
  18. Up to rated 10th! Go Lady Hoosiers!
  19. Didn’t know whether to put this here or in the cooking/grilling thread😂
  20. Other than a couple guys, the adjective I think of with his team is “thugs.” No other descriptor fits. They weren’t just smoking. Ellis for one was selling. He also had a guy who thought it would be a good idea to throw a potted plant at a coach. The GPA figure you give was propped up by the few kids who were serious about their grades. There were a couple guys who had 0 GPAs. IMO, no amount of wins could justify Sampson’s tolerance of zero character guys
  21. A scout’s evaluation of Hank Aaron. The comment about power being “fair “ is amusing.
  22. https://www.elevenwarriors.com/ohio-state-basketball/2023/03/137835/chris-holtmann-says-three-second-rule-needs-to-be-evaluated-after-matchup-with-zach-edey-and-purdue
  23. Agree with everything you say here.... Of course, Purdue and Wisconsin have coaches who have been in their positions considerably longer than 2 1/2 years to develop their cultures and know what kind of players fit
  24. Don’t know about the foul calls but if the Rutgers game was any indication, he should have been called for 3 seconds at least 3-4 times.
