  1. There are a lot of delusional people on Rupp Rafters...they think Hurley is still in play... And he is...I'm sure Bobby would take the job at the drop of a hat 🙂
  2. To be honest, I think he's better off... Happiness trumps everything...
  3. I was gonna bring that up last night...Give him another few starts, but they gotta go with the best interests of the team in mind...
  4. I'm sure Drew himself is...And I think if it was just him he'd be fine...He's got a daughter in college (Baylor) and 2 high school aged sons, and of course his wife... Families are normally off limits, but there are those, especially in the internet age where you can say pretty much anything without accountability, who'll probably test them... He's a good coach...No doubting that...But I'm also sure his family comes before anything...
  5. I'm not sure Drew is a good fit at UK... Wife is an introvert...Has kids...Very devoutly religious... Even starting out there will be a lot of external pressure...He'd better win early and often...If not, that fan base will eat him alive...
  6. They do look comfy, and they have to be next to the standard issue boots...or the jump boots...or the jungle boots... Look like they'd be kinda warm on the feet though...Waterproof?
  7. Your fingers musta been worn out that night, then...
  8. What's that got to do with anything? IU board, and I'm an IU fan... Yet minutes after the game, you broke your neck getting here to tell us what a great year you'd had, regardless of the loss... Yeah, we're in that noggin alright...
  9. Whatever you want to believe 😂 You know, I don't agree that IU lives rent free in y'all's heads...you pay us to be there...chanting "IU Sucks!" 10 minutes before the most important Purdue game in almost half a century pretty much certifies that... I don't remember exactly what I was thinking right before the 2002 NC games, but I can flat guarantee you Purdue wasn't any part of it... And afterwards I damn sure wasn't cruising my rivals message boards trying to argue what a sensational year we'd had...
  10. So this is what we're supposed to believe? That initially, Purdue didn't believe in or participate in NIL... Until Edey needed a payday... And now Gillis is moving on, not because of NIL because he makes plenty at Purdue, but because prior to the season Painter told him he'd lose minutes? So he went out, won B10 6th man of the year, averaged 21 mpg on the best Purdue team in 44 years, and he's leaving because he wants 9 mpg more? Do I have this right? 😂😂😂
  11. Dudes like Terrance Shannon and Tyson Walker get big playing time and nice NIL money at a P6 school...not undersized 4s that average 7ppg... If you think he's gonna go somewhere and be a centerpiece, you're delusional...
  12. There are other boards you can post on... But I understand...you're insatiable need for validation can only come from Big Brother...
  13. Baloney...he was 6th man of the year in the Big 10...he wants to start and get 30+ minutes a game he's not getting that at any school in a P6 conference, and the alternatives don't provide "nice NIL paydays."
  14. Or maybe this whole "Purdue guys play for the name on the front" isn't flying so well as the NIL era really kicked in and they're tired of being suckers... Kids like Catchings, Heide, and Colvin will eventually catch on too...
  15. My oldest daughter and her hubby took me to Schlafly's Brewpub last time I visited, and I really liked all of the beers I tried. The food was good as well...
  16. Words I thought I'd never hear concerning college basketball... Unless, of course, before NIL I'd have had an aneurism and became a UK fan...
  17. To what? 7 feet? He doesn't take outside of 5 because he can't MAKE outside of 5...
  18. Beside the lucky banked in 3 Edey made against us, I've STILL never seen him score a basket outside 5 feet from the rim...
  19. Christ sakes why didn't you throw George Mikan in there 🙄
  20. I'd think Bradshaw would be a higher priority...a lot like Ware in both stature and freshman experience (although his was more injury related)... I don't know if it matters, but Bradshaw is from Jersey and was an AAU teammate of Mackenzie Mgbako per @The Daily Hoosier... And as I said, I'd give Payne's back plenty of attention before I made a serious pitch
