  1. https://www.jsonline.com/story/archives/2018/10/05/front-row-amy-brewers-miller-park/1533170002/ Couldn't concentrate on the Reds game last night once I noticed front row Amy.

  3. I sent PM with email. Let me know if you still need it because I am fine posting it here.
  4. Pop fixed it for you. They are shutting him down for the summer.
  5. I doubt teams takes the mid season tournament games anymore serious than they do regular season games since they count as regular season games. Maybe for the final 4 teams it might get more intense as the teams see the prize money at the end. I don't have any extra interest in the games.
  6. I like to see how the rooks measure up vs their peers and if they improve from game to game. Eason, whitmore and especially Jabari Smith look like quite a trio. Along with FVV, Brooks, Jalen Green and Sengun that team won't be easy to deal with.. Then again the same was said about a lot of these young teams like NO, OKC, and maybe Minny. Memphis has had great regular season success but not post season. Still any of them could be solid.
  7. Summer league is a different animal. Teams are willing to let players develop and make mistakes. Last year the Mavs used it for the summer of Jaden Hardy and let him go crazy driving, shooting 3's whatever. He was a TO machine. after some domination in the G-League, he cleaned up the TO's and proved to be a solid scorer and 3 point shooter for Mavs by end of season. If his game proves out from last year could be a lottery type player drafted in the 30's.
  8. I expect the Wiz are committed to Ty Jones starting at PG for now.
  9. Well he is certainly got a nice start to the season and might be the favorite now but baseball is a long season. The Miami pitcher Perez is pretty good to. Pretty impressed with that Jones guy on the Rockies.
  10. Benson is really heating up. Is he rookie also? If so, the Reds have rookies McLain, EDLC, Abbott, Steer and Benson. I haven't been following closely around the NL but who are other rookies that will challenge for ROY.
  11. So Willie Mays wasn't in Center when you hit it?
  12. What a return for Votto. The Magic dust is certainly in the air. I don't know about being the next Big Red Machine but the Runnin Red Machine seems like a good fit. After Votto's HR, I saw him and Benson having a log conversation in the dugout. Great teacher to have in the dugout!
  13. Here is another comp for Grady Dick. https://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Mike-Dunleavy-2294/
  14. Wow. Let's go Reds. Don't have letdown vs Colorado. Rockies won 2 of 3 in recent series. Going back several posts about who came from furthest down to go to WS. Did anyone mention the Nats when they won series a couple years ago. They were 8 under at end of May and went on to win WS.
  15. Really excited and impressed with what the Reds are doing. So glad that DirectV gave me free MLB Extra Inning package to watch them. Add in what the Rangers are doing and this has been a great baseball season so far for my fandom.
  16. I really like Butler, the Heat coach and their current players. How could anyone hate the Heat. I'm a Mavs fan. Hating the Heat franchise is part of the Mavs culture. The only other one that might pass them would be the Rox. One of the best NBA picture is one of Dirk celebrating over Wade laying on the floor after he missed shot at end in a Mavs big comeback in Game 2 in the 2011 Finals. Dirk wasn't really standing over him but walking by when the photo was snapped. The Dallas Mavericks' Dirk Nowitzki celebrates as the Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade lays on the floor after missing shot as time ran out in Game 2 of the 2011 NBA Finals at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, Florida, Thursday, June 2, 2011. The Mavericks defeated the Heat, 95-93. (Photo by Al Diaz/Miami Herald/MCT/Sipa USA Stock Photo - Alamy Then there was this in Game 5 of the same finals: Dirk Nowitzki talks 'disrespectful' LeBron, Dwyane Wade gesture (nypost.com) Add in 2006 finals when Wade after 2 Games and 3 quarters of Mavs dominance was sent to the line over and over and over and over during the series. Even T_Mac from that other hated team the Rockets made comments about those fake fouls. We all know Stern and Gestapo Ref Rush hated Cuban. There is your conspiracy theory. True or not who knows who cares. Mavs still would of won series in 06 but Josh howard missed some game winning FT's that cost them big time in Game 5. So Mavs still had big chances to get it done. Still get to hate the Heat franchise. Disgraced Former Ref Tim Donaghy Says Mavericks Were 'Screwed' out of 2006 Title | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors | Bleacher Report Glad that Dirk and Wade have moved past all that and seem friends now. To bad the Spurs let the Heat off the hook in Game 6 of 2013 or LeBum and Heat would only have won 1 title during that 4 year period.
  17. I think the Celts should be patient and keep Brown. If not, what do the Raptors have to offer. Siakum? Would Celts need more than Siakum. Or could it be OG and more?
  18. San antonio is great. Euros don't seem to be whine their way out of town when the going is tough. They seem more loyal to their team. . Media takes the recent generation of players and applies all sort trade article rumors to get clicks. Austin/San antonio area is great place to live.
  19. Yeh, the year they won Duncan lotto they had a solid playoff team that was destroyed by injuries (Robinson played 6 games) for a year and wound up in the lottery. Probably the only year they did not make playoffs since Robinson arrived until last 2 or 3 seasons. Thier next move will be replacing Pop on the sidelines. You could almost see Coach Bud from the Bucks returning to join Pop's staff again.
  20. I visit Pacer Digest forum. Mavs forums don't have time to trash the players since cuban lost his security blankets in RC and Donnie. Cuban, Kidd and the front office are getting all the attention in the trash dept. I think it is a bit unfair to Nico.
  21. I'm a Mavs fan and hate Luka's incessant whining and distractions with his side game with the refs. Still really glad he is Mav though and expect he matures and grows out of that.
  22. I doubt they do it but Washington did something similar with RG3 and Cousins. From Rotoworld below. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport believes the Colts "likely will take a second QB somewhere" in the remainder of the draft. Rapoport tweeted this in response to Colts owner Jim Irsay tweeting "Colts Fans…would you take Will Levis at #2 if you’re on the board for Colts in 4 hours from now?" Levis was a massive favorite to go fourth overall to the Colts before the draft started, but Indy stunned the sportsbooks when they opted for Anthony Richardson instead. Levis proceeded to fall past every team in the first round and is still undrafted. The Colts hold the 35th overall pick. There have been multiple reports of teams trying to trade up to the top of the second round to land Levis, so it's unlikely he is available when Indy takes the podium next. It's even more unlikely that they draft Levis, even if he is still on the board. If they do add another quarterback, it shouldn't be until the third day of the draft.
  23. Well colts may still have shot at hooker or Levis. Could the smart be to take 2 QBs and let them battle to start then trade the other at a later date? I know RB is devalued but think Bijan is clearly the best player in this draft. Good job Falcons. Was hoping for a Bengals trade into 8 to land him. I always liked Ridder and think Houston way over paid for Pick 3 when there was plenty of defense on the board they could of landed at where ever their next pick was. Seems like a the coach wanted defense and the GM wanted a QB. Carter has baggage, Nolan smith is coming off injury and Tech guy is raw so Anderson seems safer but seems like wrong decision to make that trade. They have a lot of holes to fill. I have 8th pick in Fantasy dynasty draft out of 10 teams. Late first is when the WRs usually start going in our dynasty league. TCU WR going to Chargers. Would it be a stretch to take him over Njigba (Herbert vs Geno)?
  24. Mavs would certainly do that also. But they have to send salary back and not sure Pacers want anybody though Bullock and Maxi might work along with pick swap. RC is familiar with Maxi Kleber and Bullock is not a liability salary wise and is only guaranteed 5 mil of 11 if cut on his final year which next year. Still bullock is a rotation player if Pacer move Hield or a young wing like Duarte. He can give SF minutes.
  25. Purdy got to play on an offense with mercedes for an OL and skill players that could compare to a Jaguar. first time he got hit, boom, elbow injury. I'd would like to see how would he do if switched teams with Thompson on the dolphins and played against the Bills and conversely how Thompson would do in the niner offense. Thompson was constantly running from pressure. I think you could even make the same comparison with Ehlinger on colts. Their offense was in the tank no matter who their QB would of been. My guess is the Niner think they can get by cheaply at QB and keep that loaded Mercedes/Jaguar talented roster. They might be right but first shot at getting big QB bucks and I'd bet they look elsehwere. i've read that Lance was not consistent even in practices from day to day. I woudn't be surprised that Sam Darnold winds up the starter by end of year. He actually looked like he had learned to play QB in the NFL by end of last season for Carolina. Speaking of Sam, will Sam Howell be better than Purdy?
