  1. Yep. I wonder if they will try to do Thunder Over Louisville around that time. The 500 can’t be far behind.
  2. Yep. Little Keet doesn’t have a compromised immune system, but he has been hospitalized three times in about 1.5 years with pneumonia so we’re being extremely careful with him. Lifting up a prayer now for you and your little man in this time to stay healthy and safe.
  3. Just read where mid June might be the best case scenario to resume play in the NBA. Wow
  4. First case confirmed in Floyd County in Indiana. That is getting close to me.
  5. I’m curious how Joe Lunardi’s estimates are holding up.
  6. I'm in So Indiana, just across the bridge from Louisville. Indiana has granted schools up to 20 wavered days. We are using five the week after spring break. We could end up using more based on how this all goes.
  7. It's official. The school I work at is closing after today until 4/6. One of those weeks is spring break though, so it's really only two weeks closed and one week will be eLearning. The door was left open to extend the shutdown. At least I'll have lots more time to post here with you all.
  8. I’m a teacher and I fully expect tomorrow to be my last day for a while. Next week would have been our last week before spring break. The question now is, will we go back when we were scheduled to?
  9. I know it's a couple of months off, but I'm wondering about the Indianapolis 500. That one affects me.
  10. Juwan Morgan is with the Jazz. I hope he avoids getting this.
  11. I'm a teacher. We've been told to have plans ready for assignments students can do at home for a shut down. The phrase, "It's not if, it's when," was used in a meeting.
  12. Even though we lost, I have to admit I enjoyed watching that. I got into it more than I thought I would.
  13. I have had similar thoughts to what you posted. IU needs to start figuring out what to do and how to handle this now, not three years from now.
  14. Wait until a toddler is involved. You get about 3/4 of an inch. And don’t even think about turning over or changing positions.
  15. Staff meetings that take longer than necessary because people keep asking questions. It’s funny that backing into parking spots comes up here. The only place I back into a parking spot at is Assembly Hall. If you don’t back in out in lot 11 where I park, it will take forever to get out.
  16. It does look cool. It would be neat to wake up there.
  17. Thanks. Today had some tough moments. The singing of Back Home Again was the hardest. A couple of my really good friends came to me not long after Dad died and said they would go with me if I wanted them to until Little Keet is old enough to go. Having one of my best friends along helped.
  18. Bourdais. He pushed him down to the grass.
  19. Forecasts are looking better. I think we get it in too, but I will have one eye on the sky and one hand on a poncho at all times. I never pick a guy to repeat, but I can see Power getting his second in a row tomorrow. Watching Kanaan, Hunter Reay, and Hichcliffe start from the middle to back should be fun.
  20. I love all things IMS as much as anyone, but they are way too tied to their rituals and traditions to do anything as sensible as adjusting the start time, particularly moving it up. I get the TV contractual stuff, but my gosh, start the thing at 12:00 (and I mean drop the green flag, not start the engines) and you almost certainly can get in 101 laps by 2:00.
  21. It was Rutherford. He is the only driver ever to walk to victory lane.
