I'm a Nabors guy...so if he's there we take him. If he isn't trade back and grab one of the edges while getting picks.

You give CW DJ, Keenan and Nabors along with Kmet/Everett, and Swift...that's looking pretty good.

I think Odunze is really good as well. I would he happy with either of the two and we would be stacked at receiver.

I really like Nabors.  You never know, he could surpass Harrison. Harrison has that radius and ability in close quarters but this kid is really electric.  Very sudden.   LT could also be interesting to have stud bookends for Williams.   Bears are in a very good spot.   Their future looks excellent.  You get some of these tough spots filled and then over time you stack the defense.  Next 2-3 drafts after this year with a heavy emphasis on D and this team can take off.

I have heard some talking heads claiming that some NFL teams ranking Nabors higher than Harrison. Not sure if that is true or not, but I do think it may be more of a 1A/1B situation than a few months back. I would take Harrison over Nabors if given the opportunity but I am adamant that the Bears should take Nabors or Odunze if they fall to 9. I love the addition of Keenan but he is getting up there in age and would be a great mentor for a young receiver.

No clue but if Odunze or Nabers falls to 9 I think you have to take one of them. If not...trade back to a spot where you still get one of the 3 edge guys to be opposite of Sweat while getting more picks.

Agree with this! I will not be happy if one of those two receivers are available at 9 and Poles trades down.

I don’t trust Woodson whatsoever to make any good decision with building this program. And if I was a recruit I’d have very little desire to come to IU at this time

It pains me to admit this, but if I were a high level D1 player coming out of high school this year, I would go to Purdue and play for Painter over IU/Woodson...no question...and I say that as a kid who grew up rooting for IU.

Justin Fields and Russell Wilson on the Steelers. Just like we all thought headed into 2024.

I figured Justin was going to be traded any day, but I did think for a 3rd-4th round pick this year. Welcome to Chicago Caleb Williams!

Keenan Allen to Da Bears for a 4th round pick! Wow.

You beat me to posting that…I like it! Still picking one of odunze/nabers at 9 as well if they fall and they will be stacked at receiver for Caleb!!!

My guess is we go QB, WR, and hit that Center with our 3rd....of course whatever we decide to do or not do with 1 could add more. Either way the RB room is solid if not really solid with Swift, Herbert, Roschon....add WR at 9. We have our TE.

Defense besides another edge oppo Sweat is good to go. After that we should be drafting all offense and line unless some BPA drops in our laps.

Yeah, we got the safety to replace EJax, good at linebacker, need DE opposite Sweat, I could see us either trading back or taking DE with #9 if big three receivers are gone.

Offense: QB (Caleb), need 2 WRs  I think, and Center.

    Aaron Jones now released.

Exciting day so far. Really like the Swift signing for my Bears. Swift is still young (25) and wasn't used that much in Philly...lots of tread left.

On the flip side though with Cousins to Atlanta and RW to Steelers the trade market for Fields is dwindling. Almost to the point where I would just keep him for the time being and deal closer to draft. The Bears don't need to give him away.

I am kind of lukewarm on the Swift signing. I don't have anything against it, and he could help, but I really wish/hope they sign a legit center. I was hoping for Cushenberry, but I don't want to rely on the backup they got from the Bills...I think he is a great piece for flexibility, but I don't want him as the dedicated center.

The only thing more completely mind-boggling than XJ's play is the belief Woodson has in him.

That's literally one of the most concerning things.

I agree, but I think Woodson had to double down on that for not bringing in another guard when everyone else could see the team needed another guard and we had the space on the roster.
