I'm happy when IU gets their guy.  And, I'll always be a Hoosier fan.  But, man I'll take a team like Indiana State had this year every time over one that was constructed in the mold of George Steinbrenner's Yankees (youngsters can google him).

If a genie were to grant me my college basketball wish, I would put the game back like it was before free agency.

Oh, and you guys can get off my lawn!

Agreed.  Gone are the days of playing for the name on the front of the jersey.  Now they play for the names in the wallet.  Wonder if we should consider changing our team name to the “Benjamins”….:coffee:

Is this guy as good as Ware? (probably not)

So we're now gonna see 2 bigs playing together again, "inside (and hopefully) out". I'll believe it when I see a 4 out 1 in game with 3 shooters on the perimeter. (from IU that is)

So far I'm under whelmed with the committed recruits. Not a huge step forward IMO. If MM gets hurt we got NO shooters on the perimeter.

Cupps: No.     Gallo: No.      Newton: Unknown.     Rice: Not any better than Gallo.

You guys can celebrate all you want. Good for you. But I'm with-holding my excitement until I see the product on the floor.

You are completely discounting our long and storied history of our guys developing as shooters…...  :coffee:

Oats posted on Twitter saying he's staying.

Maybe having a legit shot at Bobby Hurley.  Dan could stay as long as Calhoun did if he wants now.  His dad is a legitimate legend in the area, he grew up in NJ, played at Seton Hall, and has coached at Wagner, Rhode Island and UConn.  He's a native northeasterner and has 2 decades worth of connections in a fairly fertile recruiting territory.  And now he's got the momentum of back to back national titles.

Hurley would be out of his mind to leave that only to have to put up with those inbred lunatics.  He's already making about $7M/year with incentives.  Cal was making about $8M.  A million per year ain't enough to give up a sweet setup like he has and have to put up with the Big Blue Nitwits.

    He’s practically a ‘Masshole….

If fans go silent then they’re complacent and they’re saying “oh well we are what we are.” That’s the defeatist attitude that has us where we are already. If I hear one more ignorant fan saying “IU isn’t IU anymore and we need to move on and accept it” I’m gonna PUKE. IU still has everything to be a yearly top 10 program.

Why are you throwing shade at the ‘True IU” fans?  You need to “chill’.     :coffee:

And yes I was wrong about Dolson.  He's now doing exactly what I said at the time Greenspan should have done when Herbert forced a coach with sanctions over his head on us when he had one of the top 5 coaches in college basketball in Beilein in the bag.  Dolson is killing it.  Pray they get QB out of the way.

He can pull the trigger whenever he wants.  BOT can't stop him.  But Scott is a yes man as we discussed when he was hired.  Pat Kraft was the man as I said at the time but the administration would never allow that.  They don't want an AD.  They want a

  6. I’m going to paraphrase an old Coach Knight story; “ Most of us learned in elementary school, hell,  maybe even in preschool, that three is greater than two.  Then we moved on to bigger and better things.  Some of you a$$ho!e5 still don’t get it”.   :coffee:
